Very Good

Went in on a Saturday night. I had the prime rib special which was wonderful. The baked potato came with everything on the side which let you choose what to put on. The yorksire pudding could have used some juis or gravy but was good. Service was very good. Lots to choose from on the menu.

We went to the Aspen last night. Walked in and two tables were free but dirty. One server was working and three were standing around. We sat at a dirty table for over 10 minutes. Two other tables came in after us. Both were served before us. One of the families that came is sat at the other dirty table... More

Went there April 15 2015 . 3 of us had fish and chips and 1 of us had chicken and chips. It was really bad food, small portions and quite expensive for what we got. It tasted like left over's or the frozen stuff you buy at the grocery store and reheat. I will not be going there again. Very... More

We've eaten here a few times. The staff is engaged and friendly and I firmly believe that attitude flows from the manager Colin who seems genuinely to be running the Hotel and Restaurant Breakfast skillets are enormous so fair warning. Service if fast and pleasant. Dinner is also excellent. Good hearty basic food that fills one up for a day... More

We stayed at the Apsen Inn and Suites for 5 nights. We had dinner in the pub twice and breakfast each morning. I found the service to be fast and friendly in both areas. The breakfast was hearty, tasty and served efficiently. The coffee was very good. For dinner I had the ribs which were filling and tasty. The previous... More

Only had breakfast here which was very average but ok for coffee and something to eat before you hit the road again.

The ambiance was really nice. My family is passing through heading to Alberta. We all ordered the steak dinner. It was served cold basically. Which was unfortunate. I'm hoping breakfast is better.

My husband and I shared a pretty pricy meal here after a long day of travelling. It looked like a solid choice but two hours later we were pretty disappointed. The ambience was nice enough. The pub side was hopping. There were no seats there so we sat restaurant side. We had completely forgettable ribs and steak that we waited... More

Not much choice in Smithers but this looked promising. Inside is clean. We ordered 2 salads and shared a fajita. When the young waitress placed the salad in front of my mom, the tomatoes dropped out of their little cup onto the table. Expecting the waitress to apologize and bring a new little cup of tomatoes, she said "my bad"... More
