Lovely meal and location

This is a lovely setting with a tranquil garden area or indoor pub setting with nice separation between the tables. The Italian bread salad was otherworldly - just trust me on this one. Our server (a fellow whose name I should recall but don't) was a nice balance between casual and knowledgeable. A... read more

This restaurant is located down in the (walk out) basement level of the historic Heritage Hotel so it has a lot of character. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We had a three course meal (Spanish Shrimp starter, pork ragu and an eggplant dishes, and fruit crumble and ice cream) and everything was phenomenal: very delicious and nicely presented.... More

We were doing a drive of the Okanagan wine country, and a someone in Kelowna had suggested that we head to Naramata. So we did, and we found this charming restaurant at the end of a street. It was a nice Sept day so we sat outside on the patio. The food was outstanding, and the selection of local wines... More

We had finished an escorted 6 winery tour, and were looking for something close to our Naramara B&B. There is not much choice in town, which made our experience at Rock Oven even more enjoyable. It was chilly outside so we ate inside (although the large patio area appeared very busy). Most tables were elevated bar stool types (very comfortable)... More

The dinner was really great, as was the service. I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Service was friendly and very competent, the menu was extensive and offered good value. Four of us enjoyed dinner, and everyone found our dishes flavourful and nicely presented. The setting is very pleasant. The Inn is a nicely renovated heritage building, and Naramata itself is a gem. Although there are tables inside and outside, the outside tables offer a more... More

We serendipitously discovered this hidden gem in Naramata upon a recommendation by the wonderful people at Joie Farm Winery. Arriving to a fairly quiet terraced patio, it soon began to fill up with a lunch crowd. The ambience was so quaint, the service delightful…but the food…heavenly! The chef is not afraid of bold flavours but uses constraint to balance the... More

I'm always looking for an out of the way place to dine and stay at when we travel because we generally like to avoid the big crowds. We have been to this restaurant twice now and each experience has been worth repeating. The outdoor portion of the restaurant is behind the Heritage Inn which is a beautiful historical hotel and... Loved always going to this location before so was happy when it reopened. Unfortunately the food was just okay. We were a large group and half of us thought our dinner was average. Service was good. Definitely order their Caesars. Great bartending! Looking forward to trying again to see if the kinks get worked out.
