Healthy eater

The food is awesome, especially the homemade soups, 3 choices per day and all homemade. The staff are very welcoming also, make you feel at home along with the food.

I think this is the 3rd review I've given this establishment, as it's changed management a few times, and each time it's a completely different restaurant... only the name remains the same. It's a great location, so I'm glad to see it return to being a great place to eat. I call it comfort food. Very tasty soups, sandwiches (hot... More

Lena's homestyle cooking at the New leaf cafe is a real treat. With a wide variety of foods, from all day breakfast to delicious soups and pastries. This coffee shop really raises the bar!

The clam chowder we had today was absolutely the best! Never tasted better soup! If your in the area I highly recommend stopping! Well worth your visit with fast service! Also very quiet atmosphere with beautiful decorations!!

Lina does it again with another delicious dessert! The "brownie cheesecake" is delectable without being too sweet. The base is made with good quality chocolate and accents the cheesecake topping beautifully. At $20 for the entire cheesecake, you can treat your dinner guests to a mouthwatering dessert without any of the work!

Heading out of Burns Lake, we stopped at this adorable cafe for a coffee to go. The coffee was delicious and the staff very friendly. New Leaf had a great breakfast menu (including home made gluten free buns for a breakfast sandwich, a rarity in small town BC!) and a full case of homemade pies by the slice. I would... More

It was Comfortable and very friendly. It was clean and a lovely unexpected jewel to find in the rough! I would recommend the atmosphere and coffee to anyone. The prices were a little ascue.. but overall not bad.

This place is pretty average now, and doesn't have nearly the character and charm it had before. Coffee is good. Food is okay, but nothing like it used to be. Check out Alternative Grounds instead, if you want to experience what the old New Leaf was. It's a great location though, so I hope they make some improvements and become... More
