Ok food

Went here for supper on a Monday night later in the evening. We were seated promptly in the restaurant section. It was fairly busy, but very noisy. The service was decent. The menu is somewhat limiting due to a short choice of items but it is still a good selection. I had the ravioli with sauteed... read more

We went here for supper Friday night after a family skate. We were STARVING. Thankful we waited less than 2 minutes to get a table in the restaurant. Place was rightfully packed. I ordered water (as I am pregnant) and my husband ordered 7up. He got his fairly quickly, I had to ask 3 times for mine. Smaller food menu... More

The only reason I do not give this a 5 star is because the atmosphere is a bit more casual. Other than that, the service is excellent, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is excellent (in a casual way). The outdoor patio is a treat on a hot summer day. We stop here often and are never disappointed.

We have eaten here many many times. We never had a bad experience. The menu, Is a little smaller. But still a very good selection of meals. This is our go to restaurant in the summer, as the patio is excellent.

Nothing out of the ordinary at this Joey location, and in fact, the food wasn't as good as what I've had at other Joey's. My friend and I both ordered the same meal: steak and prawns....and we both commented when the meal was over that it wasn't that great. Our prawns and sides of veggies were ice cold and almost... This is the original Joey Tomatoes restaurant which has become a chain since opening. The building was uniquely decorated in an Italian Picasso type theme...tables and chairs hung from the ceiling and the dining area is separated from the lounge by a wall of wine bottles which just seem to amp the volume of this place. My children both worked... More

I have been coming here on and off since it opened close to twenty years ago. It has been through many menus and the latest is one of my least favourites. Food is fairly plain and mimics restaurants like Earls, Original Joes (they do it better) and other such restaurants. Burgers are decent but generally food is plain and unimaginative.... More

I just a lunch meeting with my associates today. I had salmon lunch grilled with light spices and spinach; which was so appetizing and energizing. There were five of us, but because there were too many patrons, it was a bit noisy; and our conversation were to a minimum. No worries, we were there for our lunch, and not for... More

Great steak and apps. Service was friendly and professional. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. I always visit when in the Sherwood Park area.

The ownership fails because Joey Tomatoes' branding advertises Italian; the menu is anything but. The chef fails because on a slow night he refused to cook a simple pasta dish with oil, garlic, white wine & basil. The bartender fails because his red house wine, "What-cha-ma-call-it" has fruit flies doing the back stroke when it's served, leaving me to wonder... More
