Rustic decor with traditional food. Special of the day was Butter Fish. My wife tried it and liked the Hollandaise but the fish was too mushy for her taste. I had the honey glazed pork chops. They were well cooked but not much honey glaze for my taste. The quantity was very satisfactory. I would eat here again.

Very nice atmosphere and an even nicer menu with a large selection. Enjoyed our dinner very much. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant.

This restaurant has unique items at decent prices. The San Jose Burger is delicious! It features steaks and burgers, some pastas and more!

We were looking for a place to have lunch and stopped at Badlands. Place was almost empty and we were seated. My wife order a salad that had spinach and strawberrys. Needless to say about 12 hours later she was hurling her meal. Can we say food poisoning? What a way to spend a vacation, driving and having to pull... More

Last time to go here, looks like the oil field pricing has taken a foot hold here and price adjusted the area. To think 2 soups cost $8.38 plus tax, so you know what the rest cost, then add a tip to an over inflated priced fast food styled meal(our choice) it just doesn't deliver the value for the food... After having poor quality food months ago, I agreed to try it again with friends. I wish I hadn't. I ordered a steak, baked potato, corn and salad. Our waiter was good. The steak came cooked medium as I ordered, but was quite dry. The baked potato tasted like it had been cooked a day or so before, the salad... More

Stayed recently in Minot. Liked the atmosphere, was really cozy. Service was very slow. Over 30 minutes to get meal. Restaurant wasn't super busy. Got our bread at the end of our meal. The corn we got was out of the can. Asked for a steak knife and didn't get it till half done with steak. Potatoes were cold. Drinks... More

I was excited to try this place but was pretty disappointed. The waiter was nice and friendly but forgot our daughter's drink and food order and had to be asked repeatedly for it (considering it was for a toddler we ordered early to alleviate any tantrums.) The bison burger was ok, overdone and dry. I ordered the fried walleye and... More

The walleye was great, I love perch so it was a good recommendation from the Mainstay Suites' frontdesk person, Hayden.
