Rustic. Food is better than fair. Small menu but plenty of choices for all. Steak,Chicken,Fish,Shrimp or Ribs. Price is good for the amount of food you get. You have to climb the stairs to eat here as it has no elevator.

Took family here while visiting on a recommendation. You have to be able to negotiate a steep flight of stairs-don't know if there's an ADA accessible access. Our party ordered walleye, sirloin and buffalo sirloin-all excellent, steaks grilled appropriately to order. Salads and condiments were sub-par: overly mayo'ed cole slaw, commercially pre-packaged salad dressing, none appeared house made. However, the... More

The owner has been in the food business for many years and delivers good food at a good price. It is located upstairs and you must be able to climb the stairs as there is no elevator. Rustic decor and popular with the local residents.

The food was okay. I heard alot of hype about the food but I was not impressed. The burger was very thin patty and dry. Prime rib was good.

The Frontier Fort Bar and Grill in Jamestown is located in the Frontier Village on the south edge of Jamestown, right off I-94. The village is a recreated prairie village that is interesting on its own. Also located here are 3 albino buffalo, a must see if you stop in Jamestown. The restaurant is on the second floor of a... After visiting the buffalo sanctuary we stopped here for dinner. Tried the rooftop but too hot and stairs very steep. Found a table in the main room, this place is hopping! Great buffalo burgers and breasted chicken--a first for me.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I always choose the steak and shrimp special. Its location is very convenient to all motels along the exit.
