My Home Town

They have some of the best soups around. Nice clean family restaurant. Price is not an issue. Worth your time.

How is this place above Applebees?! Granted my family and I came in a half hour before closing (we didn't know, we're from out of town), but everything was terrible. The food obviously came in frozen, and the hamburger in my dads order was clearly microwaved. Mathew was our server and he kept mumbling and at times it was hard... More

We love going to the Depot, and have for YEARS! Thursdays are always one of our favorite because they have their homemade knephla soup! Most of the wait staff have been there for many years and are very friendly and courteous!

This cafe is quite popular with a certain demographic and draws a breakfast crowd. I ordered a breakfast steak medium rare, and it came charred. Toast was limp. Eggs and potatoes were innocent of any seasoning, not even salt or pepper. On the other hand, there was plenty of grape jelly in packets. All right, this is sounding too negative,... More

We were there on a Thursday, Knephla soup day. There soup draws a crowd! My friends had the soup amd I had the German special which was sausage and sauerkraut, perogies, and corn. It was delicious.

Came here on a suggestion and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the fish tacos. Had a choice of tilapia or cod. I went with cod and it was tasty. The shells were fried so that added a nice crunch to it. The service was good too.

We were staying in Jamestown at a hotel near this restaurant. We went on a Sunday morning at around 10am. There wasn't a greeter but there was a sign that said "please wait to be seated". It took about 5 minutes for us to have someone sit us. There was also a really long line for the cashier to pay... More

Old time flavor with friendly service. We usually go after church on Sunday for a treat. I get the hot hamburger sandwich and my friend gets a half one also. Good stuff and good prices.

we eat here whenever we visit our family, and always enjoy the big pancakes! love the train/railroad decor, hence the name. Sometimes, the crowd is a little older, but they know what's up with the good food.
