The menu is very diverse and the food quality and preparation back it up. Excellent wine list and bar selections. Great to be seen and see local power brokers.

Awesome food. Everything we ordered was delicious. The deep fried pickles were the best I've ever had and it's the first restaurant that had the ratio of ice cream/cake right. (Most places don't give enough ice cream).

Toasted Frog is a gem found in Grand Forks. I always look of places anyone local to the area rates highly, and this place was recommended. Go early as they do not take reservations for anything less than 6 and the wait can be long (an hour or more). We were warmly greated at the door and our waiter was... More

We ate at the back bar, which was a fun place to be as we were able to watch the cooks in action. The menu included many unique items. We tried the fried pickles, which were delicious. I had the Walleye, which was prepared with a light flour crusting and lightly fried with capers and spices... very flavorful and delicate.... More

This place is great! But, you have to be 21 to enter as we found with a few places in Grand Forks so we were not able to visit when we had our younger kids along to visit UND son. But, we have visited couple of times when taking and picking up son from school. The service, the food, the... More

Loved this restaurant!!!! We were traveling thru and chose this restaurant based on Trip Advisor's reviews. We ate at the bar and had the fried pickles (amazing) and the Buffalo Chicken Lavosh. The Lavosh is terrific.....thin and crispy. We had a bottle of Zinfandel, which was excellent. The bartender was attentive. Overall, this is a busy and fun place if... More

After seeing a play at the Empire we came here for a late dinner and drinks. We started with the deep dried pickles which were tasty pickle spears with Havarti cheese wrapped in egg roll wrappers and deep fried but not greasy at all. Very tasty ! My dining partner had the chicken pesto melt and sweet potato fries which... More

This used to be our favorite place in town. But this week, they introduced a revised menu. My favorite item is now gone, and the ones we did try had deletions from the presentation and the side items that made them unique. (When the lamb burger says it comes with yoghurt, that is really all it comes with. No veg,... More

We had to eat here since we were in Grand Forks. We usually look at Trip Advisors to figure out where we will eat when we are traveling. The Toasted Frog was #1 and according to the reviews, it seemed like our kind of place. When we arrived, there was an hour wait for a table. We decided to grab... More

This is one of our favorite places in town! The lobster tail is so sweet and perfect, martinis are wonderful of which I recommend the Tropical Tadpole and the baked Brie is excellent. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat. A great place for dinner and is located downtown.
