this was a very highly recommended place to us, however we did not like it at all. we had the pizza, half chicken bbq and half gorgonzola with beef tips. the bbq side burnt my tongue... the other side the beef tips where so hard I could barely chew them. WAAAAAY OVER PRICES FOR THE FOOD WE ATE. the only... More

The food was so good I went back twice on consecutive days. The first night was a chipotle bbq pulled pork sandwich with just enough heat to make it fun. While eating that, the seasonal special came by, a seafood Mac and cheese. I just had to try it, so back I went! Louie and Paul were great, despite being... More

I don't want to sound like a food snob, but I have had some great meals in top restaurants around the world. I was surprised to find foie gras and "deconstructed" Beef Wellington on the menu beside the famous deep-fried pickles, and even more surprised at how truly fabulous the meal was. The meat was done to perfection. Combined with... More

Lovely bar in neat downtown Grand Forks. Worth the short drive away from the mall area hotels and chain restaurants. Great service and something for everyone on the menu. But OMG, if you order nothing else, go for the deep fried pickles. Unlike any other you may have tried and utterly amazing!

Went to this restaurant for a date night with my fiance. Their deep fried pickle appetizer was delicious. Extensive drink menu. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the specials for the night. I ordered the Bianca wood fired pizza. The prosciutto was so good. My fiance ordered to Bison burger and that was very good also.

Even though I'm a college student I don't like going downtown, but I thoroughly enjoy going to the Toasted Frog! Wonderful, mature atmosphere. Pricey martini's but they are *so* worth it. Anything you order is good. The wasabi mashed potatoes are to die for, but I must say they are not for everyone! My girlfriends & I come here about... More

We found the Toasted Frog online as we really wanted something funky and not a chain. What a dining delight. Almost didn't get in as the place is packed. We got the best seats at the back bar where the action is! Giant martinis and nice wine selection. We shared the frisee salad with poached egg - fresh, astringent and... More

Visiting Grand Forks with two friends for a weekend getaway. We wanted to go to a somewhat upscale restaurant for dinner. Found the Toasted Frog in downtown Grand Forks on urbanspoon. We agree with most of the reviews on the food. The filet was good but not juicy, the pasta was good but the sauce a bit runny, the pizza... More
