Always been reliable, personable and owners have been the original pillar of this type of food in our area. Good people, good reliable menu. Love it.

Very Poor Ownership....no customer service...refused to honor valid cupon! Then, gave in and gave me worst wontons in my life. They has a pea size amount of cream cheese in them! no lie! I guess he thought his cheap, chincy wontons would placate me. Owner wouldn't come talk to me when I asked for him. I guess that a few... More

This is the second time we have ordered from here... Never again... The honey chicken had some sort of mystery meat inside, brown, and full if gristle... The diced vegetables had a strange chemical taste and the chicken was once again weird and rubbery. I'm disappointed that I just threw away 20 bucks. This town is in desperate need of... More

It was awesome. Just like the old Shangrila resturant in GF. Large portions, fresh and hot. Nice atmosphere

I'm not a big coupon person but when my daughter wanted Beef fried rice, I decided to order for the whole family and check out my coupon book that I paid thirty dollars for. I was happy when I had seen Phoenix on there. Most of them said dine in only, but i found a couple that didn't. I ordered... More

I was excited to find that place because my goal since I am here in Grand Forks now is to find new places to eat. I want to eat in every place here. It is like an Asian-American place... more americanized. If want more buffet style I recommend Panda Buffet on Columbia near the mall in Grand Forks. Phoenix grill... More

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, lo mein, and wonton soup with a couple of friends of mine. It arrived within the time period they said it would take (45min to an hour) but my sweet and sour chicken tasted like what cat food might taste like. I'm a college students so I don't have very high standards when... More

We are new to town and asked local for best place to go for chinese food. We were told The Phoenix. All chicken dishes were breaded, no non breaded options. It was edible but not good. That is something we will only do once. Makes me sad, we like to order chinese take out on New Years, but if that's... More

I grew up in Grand Forks, and one of my absolute favorite restaurants back in the 70's and 80's was the Shangri-La. I still get wistful and nostalgic thinking about their egg rolls and fried rice. My S.O. and I had to drive through Grand Forks a couple months back, and I tried to bring him to some of my... More
