We eat here often, and it is very consistent. The prices are reasonable and the service is usually excellent. It is our favorite Mexican restaurant by far!

Although I no longer live or have any relatives in Grand Forks, my children and I MUST visit Mexican Village whenever we are in town. I have been eating at this unassuming restaurant for 40 years! The service at our last visit was terrific. The manager set the table up with chips and sauce before we even arrived at our... More

Mexican Village is the best Mexican food I have ever had. The lunch specials are inexpensive and very filling. Chips and sauce are delicious and very fresh. Had 3 meals here in the week I was visiting and all were perfect. The lunch taco salad was fresh and had plenty of meat for around $5. The beef tostados were beefy... More

I was there with my daughter and ordered a cheese quesadilla and when our order came mine was wrong. The waitress apologized and came back with my meal. She told me she took off 50% since it was there mistake. I said thank you. I started to eat my quesadilla and it was very tough on the bottom and I... More

Mexican Village is easily the best Mexican in town! That may not be saying much but I've never met anyone that didn't like it. They have excellent burritos and taco salad, as well as chips and salsa. If you remember, ask for the "witches brew" salsa and your mind will be rocked. PLus this queso cheese is amazing. If you... More

I brought my granddaughter to mexican village to try their fried ice cream. She had a yellow coupon from the coupon book that the schools in the area sell. We were seated by a waitress she handed us 2 menus and we presented her with the coupon and said that is all we came in for. She then took the... More

Everytime we travel to Grand Forks this is the main restaurant we choose at least once or twice a day. The food is fabulous, the price is amazingly reasonable and the service is above and beyond. I recommend you try it at least once. I am sure you will be back again and again. :)

The food here is actually pretty good. I have always had great service and the prices are great. The salsa that comes with the chips is not spicy but very flavorful. Fun atmosphere.

The chips tasted stale and the salsa mediocre, queso wasn't half bad but that "gravy" they put on every thing is like a mixture of enchilda sauce and actual brown gravy......gag. Service was good and this should have been my 1st clue......premixed canned margartias. Double gag!!!

Every time I come to Grand Forks (a few times a year) I always head first to the Mexican Village. It never disappoints. The prices are very reasonable and the food is outstanding. Love the burritos with the brown gravy. Their chips and sauce are superb. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Always hot and fresh. Lunch specials are a true... More
