We have a weekly dinner group and would love to go to JL Beers but they just don't have the seating for a large group of people. They do have some of the best burgers anywhere in the world though! An incredible selection of tap beer and great service. I understand the concept but they are losing out b/c the... More

JL Beers has fantastic burgers, and a great tap beer selection. What can you complain about when a $10 bill still gets you an excellent burger and a tasty high quality craft beer? Locations in GF's, Fargo, Moorhead, and I think now in Bismarck... if you've never been, it is worth a stop.

No-frills place to have a few beers and a burger. They all taste different and the way they have to - great! You can sit at the bar and watch what is going on while having some beers. For us as European tourists it was the perfect North Dakota experience!

While I'm not a beer drinker, my husband thoroughly enjoyed the World Traveler flight of beers and the waiters will bring you a healthy sized sample of any beer on tap so he ended up trying at least 8 beers in one night. The burgers are nothing fancy but extremely satisfying and tasty. We got the in house made chips... More

Maybe I'm just peeved that a bottle of water was two dollars with a burger. Four of us went out for my friends birthday... it was lunchtime. The two girls we were with got WAY more fries with their burgers than us guys did. The place is pretty small. I can't comment on their bar scene as we were there... More

The menu seems adequate but eveything was an add on. The noise level is not for conversation. The bugers were OK and beer choices good, We won't be back.

Local friends brought me there for Burgers and beer. It was a nice friendly place that I felt immediately welcomed at. Excellent range of beer offerings, Burger was fantastic, service was great, and if you fill out their post card, they'll stamp it and mail it off for you. Will definately be back when I'm back in town.

We have actually been there several times - one of which was not so great - but we went back and everything was terrific. The choice of burgers is very good and we like the fries or home-made chips options too. The Cajun items are really my thing and I enjoy them everytime; my husband says the philly burger is... More

Yes, the best burgers in town. The JL burger is by far the best on the menu, and I have had most of them. You definitely have to skip the fries for the hand cut potato chips, unless you like oil soaked soggy French fries. The fries suck. They have a really good beer selection if you're in to microbrews... More

The old girl and I needed a brake for shopping. This is the place for a quick beer or in our case beers. They have a good lunch and the place was full. Had no dislikes.
