The worst meal I've had in Fargo. The restaurant is dark, and dated. There are way too many items on the menu, and it is terribly expensive for the quality. For a place that is locally owned and boasts an italian chef, this was a complete disappointment. Nothing we ordered was from scratch. Frozen ravioli, canned mushrooms, puff pastry from... More

Great menu, great food. Never disappointed. Only sell wine or beer, so no night cap! Really worth a visit. We will be back

February 19th, 2014 After using several different restaurant finding apps, we landed on Toscana in downtown Fargo. We traveled from the west end of the city and arrived at 7:55 p.m.on a Wednesday evening looking forward to a meal up to the expectations of the various rating and advisory services. There was no hostess to great us. After removing our... More

Visited this restaurant for the first time and it is now my favorite place to dine. Food and service were beyond my expectations. Atmosphere was great.

We walked in to a quiet- well staffed- uncommonly quick service - establishment. From our mussels appetizer to our beverages and entree of Sea Bass and Sea Food medley ... It all came out with incredible presentation and flavor I have not seen matched anywhere. We will return here often! This visit our waiter is: Giovanni - for a man... More

We stopped by the restaurant at 7:30 on Friday without a reservation. They quickly checked the booking chart and seated us immediately. We were made to feel welcome. Our server was prompt to check with us and ask if it was our first time visiting the restaurant. We acknowledged that we just arrived in town and came down to eat... More

We chose this place based in part of TripAdvisor reviews - we were not disappointed! The regular menu is amazing; and then they make the choice more difficult by adding mouth watering specials. Our server told us that the chef/owner is from northern Italy where he learned to cook; and then he studied sauces in France. It shows in the... More

This is a very good place with a very large menu and many things not easily available locally. The menu is Italian with a few French inspired items. The dishes tend to be rich with sauces that are on the rich side. There is ossobuco of lamb, many fish and seafood choices and even rabbit. Most main courses are in... More

My associates had urged me try Toscana, but I never seemed to get an opportunity until about a week ago. Whatever your impressions of Fargo, this great little Italian restaurant will not disappoint. My oso buco was truly exceptional -- tender, tasty beautifully served and the accompaniments were remarkable. My associate's pasta brought forth kudos as well. I note that... More

We go here often for a nice dinner. The chef/owners are very nice and accommodating - plus, everything we've tried has been unique in flavor and delicious. The servers are the best. They always have a perfect recommendation for what you're craving (sometimes its hard for me to pick from all the amazing menu descriptions). This is a local treasure... More
