Good food, great service, and we girls enjoy going there due to several things - never have we not had good service, nor bad food - great choice on their menu and we love the diced dried garlic served with oil and fresh bread - that's just the opener to the yum yum food. Reasonably prices and all this keeps... More

I have regular meetings at Carino's over the lunch hour. While most Italian places are known for supper I have to say my preference for a great lunch if the Carino's endless Salad and Soup combo. It is under $10 and it you are a regular you get a card which allows you to get your 7th lunch free! While... More

I love to eat at Italian restaurants all around the midwest because I am a pilot and love to try new places, but I was fully amazed by many aspects of Johnny Carino's tonight. I loved everything about the experience; the ambiance, the wait staff, and the food was to die for. They had an amazing selection to say the... More

Just got back from here. Food was really good! Lobster ravioli and Mac and cheese!! Mmmmm. Had the pumpkin tiramisu and it was tasty!! Was not overly priced. Staff was great.

Johnny Carino's menu is similar to Olive Garden's but the food is so much better. The warm bread rolls with flavored olive oil for dipping is to die for. The 16 layer lasagna is a favorite. Absolutely, everything I have tried has been excellent. This is a restaurant we try to go to every time we are in Fargo.

Great Italian and nice atmosphere! Definitely hit them up on Monday nights as their family platters are half price that night! For about $13-14 you end up with roughly 4 meals ;-)

We were told by the locals, if you want Italian food this is the place to go. Had the fettucini alfredo, it was excellent! The bread with olive oil to go with your meal was very good. Great service, not too bad for price. Make sure the you get there a bit earlier, seems like around the 6:30-7 it gets... More

Every time we come to fargo this is a definite stop for us. I love the open kitchen and the food and service are always great.

Service was prompt, food was average. I had chicken marsala over spinach. The marsala sauce could have been more flavorful. My sons had pizza, which had a doughy crust and again, average flavor. Would I say it was bad food, no. Would I eat here again? Probably not when I know there's better places to eat/try. Portions were small to... More
