I have been to this restaurant twice in 9 months. I thought I’d give it another try as the first time we were there the consistency issues between meals of the exact same type was not that big of an issue. However, after going there again this past weekend, I was again disappointed as the orders were inconsistent and in... More

We ate here in April. I won't go into all the details, but it was bad, bad, bad. Service was the worst. We were there forever and it was not by choice. Long waiting game. They did their best to make it right in the end. This is an older Lonestar, too, and it didn't have a very clean feel... More

The Maple-Ancho Pork chop was excellent. It was cooked throughout, and still juicy and tender. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The 10 oz pork chop is very large and filling. You must allow 20-30 minutes for the cooking of the pork chop, but it is worth the wait.

We eat there every year when we go up to Fargo, food is always good. This time however and this is really the first time in the past 6 or 7 times we have eaten there, our service was horrendous. 8 people at the table at one point we were all empty on our drinks. Some got there salads right... More

We have been staying in Fargo for a couple weeks while a family member is in the hospital here. There is an area of Fargo where there are several Steak restaurants and we tried them all. Valentines when the restaurants in this area were packed and had anywhere from 1 to 2 hour waits we decided to try Lone Star,... More

We were looking for a place for a group of us to eat on a Saturday night and they had plenty of room. We were apprehensive as every other place had large wait times. They gave us a room to ourselves and though the decor wasn't terrific both the service and the food were. Wait staff really knew their menu... More

Being from Texas, I had to try this place out while in Fargo. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The bar made good drinks. We had a great lunch.

Ate at this Lone Star 08/01/13 8PM. To me Lone Star's have been middle of the road restaurants but this one really shined. Friendly staff, hot rolls, really good salad, incredibly good spinach, very good baked potato and pretty good 8oz filet. I only say pretty good on the filet because they slightly over cooked it, not a huge deal,... More

You can get a decent, delicious filet mignon at a reasonable price. Had a filet, onion strings, and a salad. I do miss the free peanuts. Guess they became a hazard strewn all over the floor.

I had a medium rare steak that was done to PERFECTION, cooked spinach that was very tasty, and wonderful service. I had actually started at a different steak place, but I needed an outlet by my table so I could plug my laptop in, but the hostess said the only outlet was at the hostess station (I find that hard...
