Have you ever been to a steakhouse that didn't have much steak? That was the situation tonight at Lone Star Steakhouse in Fargo. At 7:30PM they were out of 4 of their top selling steaks. The food choices were very limited, the service was very poor (had to ask twice twice for silverware and water after the food arrived) Could... More

Place was half empty we were seated quickly. Waiter took our order, then we sat and waited, and waited. He came back about 1/2 hr later and said the kitchen was backed up. Place is still half empty! Two other parties came in and were served before us. We were getting up to leave when another waiter brought one dinner... More

We visited for a late lunch in August. We both had soup to start and then a salad. Both soups were delicious and the salads were good as well, not just the ends of the head of lettuce. The ladies who served us were both friendly and quick. We enjoyed our lunch very much. The prices were reasonable as well.... More

We came here on a Saturday night and the hostess was pretty unpleasant and said it would be a 30 minute wait. Being a server myself, I took a looked around the restaurant and wondered why it would be that long. 3 groups walked in and were told the same and walked out. We were seated in 15 minutes. Our... I have been to this restaurant twice in 9 months. I thought I’d give it another try as the first time we were there the consistency issues between meals of the exact same type was not that big of an issue. However, after going there again this past weekend, I was again disappointed as the orders were inconsistent and in... More

We ate here in April. I won't go into all the details, but it was bad, bad, bad. Service was the worst. We were there forever and it was not by choice. Long waiting game. They did their best to make it right in the end. This is an older Lonestar, too, and it didn't have a very clean feel... More

The Maple-Ancho Pork chop was excellent. It was cooked throughout, and still juicy and tender. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The 10 oz pork chop is very large and filling. You must allow 20-30 minutes for the cooking of the pork chop, but it is worth the wait.

We eat there every year when we go up to Fargo, food is always good. This time however and this is really the first time in the past 6 or 7 times we have eaten there, our service was horrendous. 8 people at the table at one point we were all empty on our drinks. Some got there salads right... More

We have been staying in Fargo for a couple weeks while a family member is in the hospital here. There is an area of Fargo where there are several Steak restaurants and we tried them all. Valentines when the restaurants in this area were packed and had anywhere from 1 to 2 hour waits we decided to try Lone Star,... More

We were looking for a place for a group of us to eat on a Saturday night and they had plenty of room. We were apprehensive as every other place had large wait times. They gave us a room to ourselves and though the decor wasn't terrific both the service and the food were. Wait staff really knew their menu... More
