Great food!

We visited Fargo during Restaurant Week & really enjoyed this one. We got a 3 course meal....gourmet quality...for a reasonable price. The bison hangar steak was delicious. It's a uniquely decorated restaurant attached to Hotel Donaldson. Also had great service!

This was our second time here. The first was just ok so we thought we'd try it again. The salad greens were rather wilted and there was too much dressing. The meals were ok but not what one would expect for the cost. Unfortunately for over $150 for 4 we could find a better meal elsewhere. Only 3 ate meals... More

Great upscale place, the food and drinks are great but expensive, staff is very nice and friendly. Perfect spot for a Happy Hour!

You'll find fresh, high quality ingredients prepared into very tasty, unique, and visually appealing meals that are not pretentious or unduly expensive. Now where else are you going to find a croque-monsieur ordered next to a bison burger? The menu is simple and straightforward, but written with very specific ingredients and concepts in mind. I got the impression right away... More

We were both very pleasantly surprised by the service, ambiance, and meals we experienced here. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors are unique and very good. If we ever get back to Fargo, this is on the list of must dos. Make reservations, plenty of parking in the area.

When we were in Starbucks the barista recommended this restaurant. We were there during restaurant week? and the HoDo had a three course special which we both had. It included salad, entree and dessert. Everything was wonderfully prepared and artfully served. The bison hanging tender was fabulous. Our salad included smoked walleye, avocado, jicama and watercress - unusual and oh... More

After traveling for several days in Montana and North Dakota, finding this restaurant was like finding an oasis in the desert. The kale and pork belly salad was the best I've ever eaten, at least in recent memory. Rainbow trout entree was very good, as was dessert. Drinks are extraordinarily creative, and service is competent and friendly. Prices are VERY... More

We didn't eat at HoDo, but our large group sampled some of their cocktails. The Lemon Drops (regular and Pom), Thai Blue Sky and the Blackberry Orange Mojito were all memorable. There were also lots of beer and ale choices for the men. Great service!

HoDo Lounge was the first restaurant to remind me of New York. It's located downtown where, basically, all the action and arts are located. HoDo includes a relaxing lounge and a restaurant. If there's a lace to be seen...this is it. So, people are casual but trendy. Energetic atmosphere, great for dates and unparalleled bar with wines, liquors and beers.... More

Fargo has some seriously great restaurants located in the downtown area. The Hodo has a restaurant and lounge/bar area. We usually end up in the lounge area because of the atmosphere, great drinks and you can order from both menus. Everything on the menu is excellent. The soups are a must, daily selection or the tomato soup. Our go to... More
