The best place in town!! I think I would have gone crazy if I hadn't found this place. Just moved to ND and this little restaurant makes me feel like I brought all the comforts of home with me. Whether you want the best chicken you have ever tasted, or the most juicy burgers around or even looking for some... More

Ordered the 8 piece chicken bucket and started with the pumpkin pie. Delicious. Sort of odd that, upon arriving shortly before 1800, the place was emptying out and signs of a "dinner rush" were apparent. Sort of brought to mind the "early bird special" syndrome of Florida (oldsters eating dinner by 1600 to save a few bucks).

Legendary. But you have to go to the power items on the menu. Pies are not worth trying, and mashed potatoes are phony. Borscht is the real deal, the best in North Dakota, savory broth, chock full of beets and cabbage. Chicken dinners are great--even the white meat moist and tender. Service is attentive.

This is actually the food I've had in dickinson overall and would recommend this restaurant to anyone passing thru. Just a simple mom and pop diner with good chicken and desserts. The prices were very fair and would return. The chicken was very good and juicy and the service was excellent as well.

Excellent chicken and homemade ethnic soups. Specialize in Borscht and Knoepfle soups. Restaurant has long-time local ownership and good reputation.

Stopped by while travelling through Dickinson. Haven't had Jack's in years. Was my Grandma's favorite restaurant. Had the knoephla with the three-piece chicken dinner. Prices were decent and the food was phenomenal! Maybe it's just the German in me? Would recommend this over KFC any day!

Senator Byron Dorgan would drive 100 miles out of his way to eat the soup there Byron Dorgan would be half an hour late for a meeting or a fundraiser to eat the soup there. I think he likes the chicken dumpling. While Jack's is famous for its fried chicken, I think it is pretty hard to find a better... More
