We went here on the recommendation of a few people touting this as fine dining. It's far from it. The atmosphere was severely lacking. The tables and chairs very cheap dive bar quality. And the service was lacking in every way. Our waitress forgot us not once but three times, and there were only a handful of tables occupied. The... More

The Elks in Dickinson used to be the place to go for fine dining. There was a recent change in management and I must say I am disappointed. The prices are high, I don't mind paying for excellent service and excellent meals. I think the steak fry is still fine, but restaurant is disappointing. I hope it improves once new... More

The night I was there, the Trustees were busy grilling steaks outdoors. Not only was the steak a superb cut, but it was done to perfection - this is rare, in my experience. The manager, Casey, was friendly and knowledgeable, as was the staff. Great experience! Thanks, Elks!

Went on Tuesday night for the Rib eye steak fry, and must say I was not disappointed! The 14oz steak was at LEAST 16OZ, cooked perfectly, and the service was great. Also, how can you beat 40 oz beers?!?! Only concern is it was definitely higher end price wise, 27 dollars, but it was as good of a steak as... More

Prices are a little high, but good Walleye. Service is slow but on the most part the staff are friendly.

This place has the best food ever! The best deep fried, shrimp I've ever eaten. I've never seen shrimp that big. Excellent service and atmosphere. Endless garlic toast and salad bar. Heaven!

This place has been in Dickinson forever....and their lack of care about their quality shows. The prices are inline with oilfield prices..high and out of line especially when you consider the lack luster service that you get. We came for supper with another couple. Took 15 minutes for the server to come and 40 minutes for our food to come.... More

You will not go wrong ordering steak or prime rib at the Elks. Service usually good, nice atmosphere.

Salad bar needs a upgrade. Shrimp scampi needs an overhawl as well. To be more like a traditional way it's prepared, not like a stir fry on top of wild rice.

I liked the food and atmosphere. It's a great place to enjoy good food and be able to hold a conversation with other people. Some restaurants can be so noisy that you can't hold a conversation. Service was good.
