Great place to come with friends and have drinks. Food is funky and eclectic. Spinach and artichoke dip is actually loaded with chunks of artichokes unlike most chains. One of the best beer selections in Bismarck!

We have been here two times in the last year. They have a good selection of craft beers. They only sell Pepsi products which is a negative. They have garlic fries which are an appetizer, they are amazing. Bread and butter is served with drinks. They have a small but nice selection of sandwiches, pasta, and personal pizzas. The wait... When my wife & I first got there we thought it was just a bar type of a place based on the appearance. We don't drink or even go to bars nowadays but based mostly on the menu items & some other reviews we had read we decided to go in. Service was fast, food came quickly & was just... More

Last time I visited The Walrus was 14 years ago. The pizza is still the best in Bismarck. The crust is perfectly thin and crisp. The toppings are fresh. Where else can you get a pizza with sauerkraut? Excellent service.

Average food, average price, great atmosphere. Fast service and good waitress but the chicken was rubbery and not grilled.

The ravioli with spinach and Gorgonzola was excellent. The tomato with bas soup was also very good. Service was excellent as well. The chocolate cake was not worth the time. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Oh lord this place was so loud you could not hear yourself much less anyone else. Its cramped and crowded. You wait forever to get your food and when you do get it, it's not all that hot. If you are over 21 and enjoy loud music and beer or on date that you really don't want to be on... More

Too often travelers (including us) stopping just one night in a city eat at the convenient (hotel) or known (chain) restaurant. Too bad because that eliminates a chance to experience the town. On a recent trip to North Dakota we stayed overnight in Bismarck and, fortunately for us, decided to try something different. Located in a strip mall, The Walrus... More

Nice place - although being in a strip mall may cause you to think twice. Don't! I stopped in as a recommendation from the tour guide at the Capitol - was glad I did. I had "The Maggie" sandwich and I was impressed, surprised and enjoyed it very much. Great selection of food, extensive craft beer selection and a great... More
