The food was pretty bad, I wouldn't even consider it Americanized Mexican food since it was such an odd mix of ingredients. The margaritas were good, service wasn’t bad just took a while to get food. I wasn’t expecting a train to pass 10 feet away from us while sitting on the patio which was not a great experience. Overall... More

This review is the culmination of several bad visits, most recently this past week. I really love the building - the historic train depot, downtown location, outdoor patio area, I even like the trains going by. I also like the margaritas. You have one, you have a buzz. Our drinks only visits have been good. But the food. Ugh. One... More

This was our favorite mexican restaurant in Bismarck. We went in and ordered the chili rellano's and when it came out we couldn't believe it. A hard crusted chili with no sauce on it. We have never ever eaten a chili rellano like this. We were discussing this with some friends who are visiting from CA and she was telling... More

We wanted to see the old train depot and decided to stay for dinner. I ordered the fish tacos, and they were quite tasty. Interesting historic photos on the walls, and we enjoyed looking through the building. Parking in the downtown area was not easy because this was a busy place at dinner time.

My husband & I found the restaurant to look very nice, so that's what attracted us. But the drinks were horrible. My pina colada was too strong. My husband ordered THREE different sodas, & all were flat! Also the tortilla chips were like the kind you buy at Walmart. We didn't even bother ordering food and just left. There are... More

I was in Bismarck for work and we decided to give the Fiesta Villa a try. Service was incredibly slow. We sat in the bar and took probably 15 minutes to order our drink, and another 20 to order our food. There was only one server working, but they really weren't that busy. Other than that we enjoyed our meal.... More

During summer I absolutely love going here and sitting on the patio with a house margarita. Listening to local bands. That's what makes fiesta villa good. The bar tables inside the building are cheap and flimsey the restaurant is in a stupid location. If I was the owner I would look into upgrading the bar seating. And get block heaters... More

They were out of the first 3 appetizers we tried to order and when we received our entree it was below average. Bland, cold and overpriced for what you get. The service was not good, the servers seemed like they were burdened by the tables and they just wanted to talk to each other instead. I won't be coming in... More

The drinks are great at this place. However not enough glass ware to keep up with the bar, served drinks in small plastic cups and charged the same price. Food is HORRIBLE. Chips use to be fried in store now they are store bought and dumped out of a bag. Food from the menu come served directly out of a... More

Store bought chips & salsa!!!! Seriously? First Mexican restraunt we've ever been to that doesn't make their own. We were highly disappointed. Not only it was store bought but it wasn't good at all. Don't waist your money!

I am sorry you were disappointed. You are right about the chips. We do buy them. We just do not have the facilities to fry 18,000 pounds of chips each year. We do however make our own salsa and have never used canned as long as I have owned Fiesta Villa. We are still glad to be able to offer... More
