I don't know how this place has "Bismarck's Best Mexican" award for multiple years unless it's the only Mexican place in town. Service was good and friendly, the food just had no flavor. Even the Hot Salsa was bland and not hot.

A few days ago, a friend and I went to Fiesta Villa for a couple drinks. We had been there multiple times before and had absolutely no complaints. Generally we had received very good service. This experience was quite different. After receiving service that was well below expectations, we paid our tabs with credit cards and left. A few days... More

When Bonnie and Paul owned Fiesta Villa, the food was consistently good. Now, not so much. The last time we were there, the servers were all dressed in shorts and T's, which didn't look professional at all. As a matter of fact, their overall grooming wasn't that great either. Fiesta Villa is no longer a "go to" place for us... More

Food was cold. Service was poor. I couldn't help but think what the many possibilities that place could have. It's in an old train depot. Nothing screamed great atmosphere. The food was crappy and the service... well nice but lack luster. Don't try the Flatbread Taco. It was doughy and tasted like grease an other food.

A poor choice to put this type restaurant in such a building. Acoustic make for a jarring experience. Decor is strange, seating institutional. Food OK but chips were obviously not made there. Taco pizza was pretty good . Carnitas OK. A private party made it very noisy and service was casual. Chose other place for Mexican food in Bismarck,,,,

The food was pretty bad, I wouldn't even consider it Americanized Mexican food since it was such an odd mix of ingredients. The margaritas were good, service wasn’t bad just took a while to get food. I wasn’t expecting a train to pass 10 feet away from us while sitting on the patio which was not a great experience. Overall... More

This review is the culmination of several bad visits, most recently this past week. I really love the building - the historic train depot, downtown location, outdoor patio area, I even like the trains going by. I also like the margaritas. You have one, you have a buzz. Our drinks only visits have been good. But the food. Ugh. One... More

This was our favorite mexican restaurant in Bismarck. We went in and ordered the chili rellano's and when it came out we couldn't believe it. A hard crusted chili with no sauce on it. We have never ever eaten a chili rellano like this. We were discussing this with some friends who are visiting from CA and she was telling... More

We wanted to see the old train depot and decided to stay for dinner. I ordered the fish tacos, and they were quite tasty. Interesting historic photos on the walls, and we enjoyed looking through the building. Parking in the downtown area was not easy because this was a busy place at dinner time.

My husband & I found the restaurant to look very nice, so that's what attracted us. But the drinks were horrible. My pina colada was too strong. My husband ordered THREE different sodas, & all were flat! Also the tortilla chips were like the kind you buy at Walmart. We didn't even bother ordering food and just left. There are... More
