Best crab cakes and shrimp and grits in the area!

You must order either the crab cakes or shrimp and grits. Both are excellent. Remoulade with the crab is fantastic. Early bird special is a great value -- appetizer, entrée and dessert (under $20) - must order by 6pm. Great dining outside in the summer. This is my favorite Wilmington... read more

Hello Bridge Tenders and prospective patrons, You have a beautiful location and the food was good, although a bit over priced for the portion sizes. BUT, I am sick and tired of restaurants tolerating and allowing people to smoke e-cigarettes in restaurants. There was a large group near us and they repeatedly huffed and puffed with copious smoke clouds all... More

Quiet Monday night, so it wasn't crowded. A bit chilly, but we still sat outside. I had the chowder, and, unfortunately it made me quite sick. I will call tomorrow & advise. My GF 's had the tried. & true pear salad with salmon & it was awesome. I had the crab cake, which was delicious. Our waitress was nice... More

Went last night. Service was excellent. We sat on deck overlooking the water. My son had grouper stuffed with crab and I had the tuna. Everything was really good.

I really liked that you could choose the size of the filet. That allowed a couple people in our party to have a small 5 oz. filet and add a scallops to the entrée, which were available in a 2 or 4 ounce portion. The food was good. The service was good. The wine list had several very reasonably priced... More

It was Without a doubt worth the money, After several years we decided to dine there for our date night last night. THE PRICES were ridiculous, and if you are going to charge those... More

My wife and I live in wilmington and used to go here often. We hadn't been in a while so we stopped in for dinner. The atmosphere is nice And the view of the ICWW is great. My food was good but the Mahi was really small, and not worth the price! My wife had Steak Oscar, but there was... More

Visited The Bridge Tender on Good Friday and the restaurant was very busy, but the service did not suffer. We actually had two waiters, as one was in training. You would not have known it, however. Service was great. Also, while the restaurant usually closes at two after lunch, it was extended closer to three, as so many of us... More

In Wilmington looking for our retirement home, our realtor said, "try Bridge Tender, I think it is our best restaurant." Well, we went twice, needless to say, we agreed with his assessment. Scallops, crab cakes, lobster, steak, we had them all. Everything was very good -- even the rice cake was great. The view is very nice; the wait staff... More
