Casual beach restaurant

22 North is a wonderful beach town restaurant. The food is very fresh as the menu is small. The friendly waitstaff brings the menu on a large chalkboard. It is very reasonably priced and very good. Pay attention to the drink specials and beer specials, this can save off of the final bill.

If you are an atmosphere freak, things will bother you. It's a little too cold. The lighting is off. The vibe on a weeknight leaves something to be desired. But the food. OMG the food. So, so, so great. I finished my Seabass, then wanted to order another. And maybe one more. Just exceptional. Better than San Fran. Better than... More

The food is just OK. There are much better options nearby. The portion sizes are extremely small especially given the high price tag.

You first notice the dark decor. For a beach town, the restaurant is dark and rather cold. There is no menu so the server puts a large chalkboard near your table to explain the choices. Everything was very fresh and the adults' meals were tasty. The kids' menu had very cheesy ravioli and chicken fingers. I asked if we could... More

A friend recommended 22 North. We checked it out online first so we were aware of the small menu. On the night we went, there were 6 or so entrees on the menu and we had a difficult time narrowing down our choices because everything looked great. We decided on a bread basket, blueberry goat cheese salad, shrimp and grits,... More

This restaurant does not strike one as 5 stars, however the preparation and presentation is just that. The menu is truly unique and fresh. The fried alligator is a must try appetizer! If you like key lime pie you can't go wrong with this establishment! Can't wait to see what will be on the menu for my next visit!

We ate at 22 North the first night we were in town. The place looks like a little dump, but the food is good. I had scallops wrapped in bacon, and it was delicious. My husband had the steak and he said that it was also very good. I didn't really want to eat at this place because it didn't... More

After reading many of the reviews we decided to give 22 North a try and trust me there was no disappointment. While the building isn't the nicest The food was excellent and the service was equally good. The idea of fresh local ingredients is appealing and the scallops, shrimp and grits, and tuna were all well prepared with lots of... More

Our family of five had dinner at 22 North last night and it was a great experience. Even though they are at the beach, parking was easy, they have a dedicated lot. We read on Trip Advisor that the appetizers were excellent, so we tried five of them. My favorites were the Pork Cheeks, the Crawfish and the Oxtail. The... More

Great local fresh menu items. Jessica our waitress was very informative and was a great server. The food came out in good timing and the drink menu was varied. We had fish and pork dinners that were suggested. Thanks for a great dinner. Later the bar turns into bar with a fun dj.
