Great hot dogs!

Nice place where to eat a great hot dog. It's very close to the beach, with ambrellas and tables outside. My favorite is the Surfer hot dog!

The wieners used on the hot dogs were excellent, but the toppings only fair to poor. Trolley Stop is tiny and offers no seats indoor, however a small outdoor area with concrete benches is adjacent. The list of possible combinations for their hot dogs is extensive, but there are problems. The chili is very pedestrian and consists mainly of a... More

Good for a quick bit of sustenance...hot dogs, chips, sodas. What makes it special is the offering of five varieties of hot dogs including vegetarian and burger. And it is a landmark on the island.

We have owned a condo across the street from the Trolley Stop for decades. Taking our young son across the street after a day at the beach was always a sacred ritual. We would stand in line and not mind the wait at all. Ever since the owners from Chicago (Winnie) sold the restaurant, it has gone steadily downhill. The... More

Great food, lots of locations. Good prices. Always friendly. Out door seating is fun unless it is very hot.

While visiting the beach, you have to have a hot dog at the Trolley Stop. Be prepared to wait in line but it is worth the wait. Make sure you have some sweet tea too. My favorite is the turkey dog, Carolina style!

Love this gem of a place. Perfect spot for during the day or late night. So many choices of hotdogs, as well as toppings. My favorite was the Chicago. Inexpensive, and good casual fare. Definitely worth exploring.

This place is really just a glorified hotdog stand. That being said if you and the kids are sandy and you want to eat before going right back to the beach, this is it! They're is ample outside seating and you can be back to the surf in no time. This is more touristy than most places I recommend but... More

This was a great place to stop for a gluten free all beef hot dog and GF bun also. Pick your dog and then the style. We ordered 7 different hit dogs to get a taste of the menu. We had a great fast lunch for under $20. The Mexican and Nuclear styles were awesome, and the Chicago style with... More
