great hot dogs! While the line might be long they are well worth the wait! Close to the beach! A perfect beach lunch!

We stayed at the Summer Sands for the first time and right across the parking lot we found The Trolly Stop. This place is awesome!! It's tiny bit it puts out some great food. We literally had lunch there all 4 days of our visit. We had several of the different hot dogs.. the North Carolina, the All the Way,... More

Line was long but moved along quickly. For dogs, nothing special. The slaw on the dog was great, but the chili sauce tasted canned. Sweet tea was also average. Still a good place for a quick bite, but remember cash only.

If you love or even like hotdogs, do not miss this little "Stop"! The best hotdogs ever, and you may choose All Meat, All Beef or Vegetarian dog. They come anyway you want, but they also have some specialties. Try the Wrightsville Beach. You will not be disappointed. It is open from 11 to 6 usually, and there is a... More

I generally do not like hot dogs, but love dogs from the Trolly Stop. We have gone here since I was a kid. They have a variety of toppings that are way beyond your mustard and ketchup condiments. There is no indoor seating or bathrooms. There is often a line, but it moves very fast. Trolly Stop dog and some... More

We are used to the Detroit coney, so we ordered the American dog, which should essentially be a Detroit coney. The dogs were skinless and the chili was more of a NC BBQ chili than a chili dog chili. Good in a pinch.

We stay at our family condo across the street, and it is tradition that we walk across the street to get a round of hot dogs. They won't win any records, but they variety of toppings is interesting, and they taste great after lounging by the pool all morning. I like the smoked dog with the Mexican toppings.

Really good hotdogs! They have Gluten free options and great toppings. My favorite is the Wrightsville beach dog and it has a local boar and castle and tomatoes. SO good!

Walked from the beach to grab some dogs for the whole family. Cash only so had to use ATM. Long line but went by quickly. The hot dogs were gross and nothing special at all. I also ordered sweet tea and couldn't even drink it because it tasted awful. I seriously don't understand how this place has good reviews. I... More
