We enjoyed The Oceanic Restaurant so much we went back twice while staying in Wrightsville Beach! We had the Calamari, which was lightly breaded and delicious. I love the marinara sauce for dipping. Good food. Good service. Casual. But the main "rave" in my review was the pier dining as a full moon rose over the ocean as dusk approached (Oct 13 2008). It was as close as you can dine to the roaring surf without getting saltwater and sand in your chowder. Also, some good views from inside the building. more
