I thought it'd be a middle of the road restaurant. It was a loud just ok sports bar. Food was terrible. Server recommended fish and chips the batter was so thick I could hollow out the small amount of fish. It came with skinny french fries that were actually very good. I would only go there to have a beer... More

Great atmosphere, pool tables, foozball, darts, etc. Fun beer signs on the walls. Casual, very clean. Hubby and J both had the fish and chips, which were delicious. The chips are actually home style fries which were probably some of the best fries I have ever had in my life. I had an island punch to drink and loved it.... More

We enjoyed the food and games at Banks Channel Pub and Grille. We had a good dinner with good service. Our seafood dishes were fresh, tasty and well prepared. They also have a good selection of draft beers and mixed drinks. While waiting for our meals to come after ordering, my teenage daughters and I enjoyed playing ping pong and... More

First of all, they do emulate a Pub, with darts, games, and weekly trivia contests. All very British in origin. Fun atmosphere. Food is seafood based (not pub) and they offer a good variety of appetizers and main courses. Skip the mac and cheese and pizza stuff as you are on the beach! Enjoy the seafood dishes Some caution, however,... More

We were looking for a place to eat dinner on our last night at Wrightsville Beach. Banks was by far, the best restaurant we ate at the entire week of vacation. I had the goat cheese pear pizza and my boyfriend had the Mac and cheese with chicken. Both dishes were delicious and we kept looking at each other with... More

We had dinner here. I ordered the chicken mac & cheese entrée and my husband had the fish & chips. We had a very nice waiter and sat outside. He recommended the chicken mac & cheese. It was a beautiful evening and we very much enjoyed this place. Food was very good and so was my margarita!

The seared ahi tuna appetizer is amazing. It is the perfect combination of flavors. All of their food is great. If you're looking for great food & service, head to Banks Channel. You won't be disappointed.

We went to Banks on whim. Our hotel had several restaurants listed and this one seemed to have what we were looking for--plenty of menu options at reasonable prices. We came in on a Wednesday around 7pm during the off season, so it was a relatively slow evening. We appreciated this because service was stellar and we received our food... More

With all the food establishments in Wilmington this particular place sits about in the middle to me. Ate there tonight, it is your basic pub food. Not bad, just average. Service was good enough, selection of food was not so bad. Price was as expected. From 5-7 appetizers are 1/2 price, so that is good. Plenty of parking, nice amount... More

We opted to sit in the quiet dining area verses the bar. The menu was varied with some interesting, fairly priced items. I got the fried green tomato caprese and was really pleased. Ask for extra pesto. BF ordered the shrimp/scallop pasta dish and was pleased. It had big scallops, a little heat, and was 'just right.' Service from Amy... More
