I had a breakfast treat called eggs Neptune. It is a play on eggs Benedict using blue crab. AMAZING! Fast and efficient service. Great for all ages and appetites.

Our biggest treat is going to this café for breakfast when we visit Wrightsville beach. Be prepared to wait in line but it is well worth it. It has the traditional breakfast but has some interesting special items. Try to the crab omelet and the malted pancakes. You will not be disappointed!

This was very affordable for breakfast and the pancakes are enormous. They taste like white cake with syrup. My husband got an omelet that was good too. The price is equivalent to fast food breakfast but much more delicious. It was annoying that they didn't take card though and we had to go down the street to an ATM.

There are so many great choices for breakfast, with plenty of unusual options as well. I had a dish called Neptune, which was perfectly poached eggs over fresh crab and tomato on an English muffin. My husband had a perfectly cooked crab omlet. Someone else ordered sausage pancakes. The order was huge. this is a popular stop, so either get... More

This was our 3rd visit here in a couple of years - we always love it! We have tried the seafood omelet, the Eggs Neptune (Eggs Benedict with tomatoes and fresh crab meat) and the sausage pancakes. Yes, the pancake batter seems to be mixed with cooked breakfast sausage and then made into a pancake - very delicious and very... More

Just home from Wrightsville Beach and wanted to add to reviews. We walked in the Causeway later in the day without paying any heed to hours of operation. They greeted us warmly and after sitting down and noting the hours, the staff smiled and told us to relax, order and don't worry about the hour. Had a crab omelette, with... More

Our family goes to the Causeway Café every time we visit Wrightsville Beach. There's always a wait of 20 minutes or more, but the food is worth it. This year we went twice, once for breakfast and the next day for lunch. The food is simple, yet oh so good. We've liked everything we've ordered, including eggs, French toast, waffles,... More

You know the place, everybody goes here, off the beaten path, good breakfast, good kid food, lines on busy days-most of the time, and efficient service. Eggs, grits, omelets, french toast, pancakes along with some shrimp and grits and fried perch and a decent benedict. It's good. Mike is great, always checking up on you, and the crabby lady at... Who are these people writing good reviews?? I'm guessing family members. Just a terrible place all the way around, they seem to do business only for the fact that there are not many other options around. Save your precious time and money and stay away from this horrible diner. From difficult parking to an unnecessarily long wait, to busted toilet... More
