Great cafe on the causewy

What a find! Happened to spot the cafe on our way to town, turned around and glad we did. Had a great lunch. Place was crowded and it took a while to get our food but the wait was worth it. My wife and I stopped for a quick breakfast last week and were somewhat shocked by the score of their recent health rating in July 2015 . . was 87.5, grade "B". We thought about leaving but had already ordered. We don't eat anywhere with less than a 94, but it was crowded so decided to stay and just get... More

We went for breakfast. It was cheap ($5.75 for eggs, bacon and french toast). We were offered free coffee while waiting for a table which was not very long. The coffee was good. Service was quick and the waitress was very attentive. The food arrived shortly after ordering. Everyone at my table felt their food was very tasty, cooked appropriately... More

Great diner right off the main drag. The owners make this place feel like a home, introducing themselves and on their feet engaged with customers non stop. The pace here is busy, you can tell they turn tables quickly. The food was plentiful, with a definite North Carolina country feel, big portions and good quality. Cash only, though there is... More

We always eat here and usually on our last day. This is mainly because my family wakes up at such various hours that we eat breakfast at different times. On our way out, we hit the Causeway for the great omelets.

What experience!! My wife had a migraine and with the bridge up this morning stopped by to grab a waffle for her. Mind you just a waffle , yet when I stopped in this morning to order it, despite not being too crowded was told "We are not taking any take out orders since our kitchen is backed up". Mind... More

The inside of the restaurant has become run down and not extremely clean, the ceiling tiles leak and their sanitary rating was 87. We didn't see the rating until we left because it is posted on the inside of the front door. The food is ok but unless they improve on all things listed we will not go back.

As the name says, this restaurant is just off the Wrightsville Beach Island. Not much ambiance but speedy, good breakfast with a nice waitstaff. Oh, and they only take cash. People suggested the waffles and they do not disappoint.

Have been wanting to try it since we moved to the beach a couple of months ago but it was always packed. Finally went on a Monday morning and while it was busy, service was excellent and the food was awesome. All the food is made from scratch and the options seem almost endless. Portions are more than generous. Only... More

I was looking for a place for breakfast while my husband was at a conference. Small hole in the wall mom and pop restaurant. Seating inside with a small deck with people drinking coffee outside. I was seated right away and ordered 1 egg, hash browns and toast for 3.25. Typical breakfast food and a lot of people ordering pancakes.... More
