The causeway would qualify as a dive in appearance. The cleanliness does not reflect it though. I got the traditional two eggs, two pancakes, and bacon which was really good but my wife got the black walnut banana French toast which was out of the world. It is small so get there early our be ready to wait. I would... More

True down home place for breakfast and lunch basics and some traditional southern specials. Long waits year round are actually good chances to spend family time on the front porch.

We rely heavily on Trip Advisor and Yelp for breakfast reviews. This is a family favorite so far. Both my daughters ordered Belgium waffles with different toppings, my wife ordered an omelette with shrimp and mozzarella, and I went with the Hungry Man which I couldn't finish. Everything we ordered was awesome. No complaints, and we will come back for... More

This is a small, locally-owned and operated breakfast and lunch spot that you don't want to miss! Enjoy a cup of coffee out on the front porch while waiting for your table! The food is great and the service is warm and friendly! The owner will be sure to stop by your table during your meal. You don't want to... More

Love Causeway cafe. Best breakfasts plus free coffee while you are waiting. Delicious and fresh prepared food. My sons enjoyed the french toast and my husband and I ate the eggs benedict.

We have eaten here many times since 1990 and have never been disappointed. It is a casual, friendly, local hangout with a large breakfast menu. As I make waffles, I always select one of their yummy omelets. Yesterday I had the blue crab with cheese and Mornay sauce omelet which was full of lump crab meat. Delightful! My husband chose... The crab omelet was great, full of crab meat and oozing with cheese. We had about a 15 minute wait on a Saturday morning, not too bad. They have quite a few things to choose from on the menu. Next time I'm in the area I'll try something different. Make sure you bring cash, they don't take credit cards.

Causeway café is a longtime favorite at Wrightsville beach. I moved here in 1991 and have enjoyed many breakfasts here. From the eggs benedict to the "big breakfast" never a disappointment. The hash browns are a must. You may have to wait to get in, but the wait wont be long and it will be worth it!!!!!!

We stopped here for breakfast on the recommendation of friends from Wilmington and loved it. It's a small busy place but the food is great and inexpensive. Staff was friendly and helpful. If there's a wait free coffee is provided. The pancakes are wonderful. Bring cash - credit and debit not accepted.

When we go to North Myrtle Beach, we drive an extra hour out of our way and spend the night in Wilmington just so we can have breakfast at this restaurant. We love their crab meat omelettes and pancakes. It's not a fancy place and there is no view BUT we think it's worth it. We've been doing this for... More
