Description: We are overlooking the scenic anchorage on Banks Channel, located on beautiful Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Our restaurant has been the Local's favorite since 1997. We welcome our guests with consistent, creative cuisine served in a friendly, casual atmosphere. You can enjoy a great burger sitting outside on our patio for lunch or experience the unique, eclectic, regional cuisine at dinner of our Chef James Rivenbark. His menu highlights the bounty of fresh Carolina coastal seafood at our front door. We also have Gluten Free items.

Staying in Wilmington for a wedding and rode out the Wrightsville Beach looking for a fresh seafood restaurant where we could take kids. It was early evening and this was the first place we saw that looked like we could take children. We sat on the patio and our waitress was very good. The food was good, but not outstanding.... More

We stopped at South Beach Grill after visiting Wrightsville Beach with our dog late one afternoon -- and found the perfect spot for all of us to relax! The staff could not have been more helpful - the waiter working the outside patio told us to take any table we wanted, and went inside to get menus. Before he got... More

We have been going here for years but the food was disappointing this year. The chowder was too thick, the salad had too much dressing and the lettuce was not crisp. The entrees were so-so except for the seafood lasagna which was an ample portion and tasty.

We needed a restaurant to bring our fairly new dog. We found this place on www.bringfido.com. Little place on Lumina, which is the main road in Wrightsville Beach. The sunset over the bay side is right across the street, and the welcome and service was superb. Our dog was exhausted from her first beach trip, so we hooked her to our... More

I askd our marina staff for a recommendation for the best food in town, regardless of atmosphere or price. This restaurant was the #1 recommended! So we went and were further impressed! Try their infamous fried pickles! I had their "Grouper Linda" and loved it! The wait staff and owner provided excellent and gracious service!

The waitress didn't want to be there. I inquired about the seafood and she told me about the non seafood specials. She smiled occasionally, especially at the end. The patio is nice. The free parking is helpful. The tea was old and stale. The fish tacos were unseasoned drowned in their special sauce, that isn't terrible. I periodically took a... More

Dropped by for late lunch after several hours at the beach. Cute location, interesting menu. We had the burger and the fried clam po-boy. Once the order was put in, the service was faaast! Food was tasty and very enjoyable. Hand made chips were good but needed some type of dip. Ate inside and really enjoyed the AC after a... More

This is a nice causal restaurant with good food. Make a reservation they say busy. If it's not too hot it's nice to sit outside
