The service is horrible. We left after 30 minutes waiting at our table for drinks or order. No one came. I went to the counter and asked if we could get a server. We waited another 10 minutes and left. I cannot comment on the food because we never got to eat

Our food was very hot, and tasted great. The service was terrible. We explained that we were in a bit of a hurry and asked if that was ok, they said it was. We were just about the only ones in the restaurant. We still had very slow and couldn't care less service. Our food was slow in getting too... More

My family and I recently dined in at the Mayflower Seafood Restaurant in Winterville, NC and were more than pleased with our experience. We were happily greeted at the door with a friendly welcome and then seated in a booth next to one of the restaurant's four large fish tanks, which kept my family's two children occupied. The food was... More

This was once one of my favorite places to eat but not anymore. They don't give as much food and it's getting a bit on the greasy side. I only go now when my 10 year old asks for popcorn shrimp while we eat chicken (she's allergic to chicken).

Missed breakfast, so thought would try their broiled platter. Started with Clam Chowder - not at all bad, but VERY different and I wasn't thrilled (they immediately took off check). Platter was huge. popcorn shrimp, trout (I didn't specify seasoning, wasn't bad, but lemon pepper would have been better) was flaky and fresh. Salad was large, fresh and outstanding. They... More

Visited about 10 months ago after we went to the celebrated Sanitary Market in Moorhead City. In my opinion the Mayflower is a better value. When we visited there were many broiled choices on the menu and the prices were fair. There are few choices in eastern NC for seafood that are not near the ocean but we have been... More
