Just returned to WS and glad to find a Sawatdee on the N side of town, saves me a drive to Clemmons. The Thai food is consistantly good, the sushi is just above avg. Been there twice to dine in just this month.Quick service, but almost too attentive and kept checking on us, interrupting conversation. Value is good but not... More

Thai Sawatdee has very good food at reasonable prices. My kids live in Winston-Salem, and kept talking about eating at "Teeter Thai", so nicknamed due to its location inside a Harris Teeter grocery store. They eat there a couple times a month. We tried a variety of dishes, all of them delicious, my favorite being the pad thai. The egg... More

This restaurant located inside a Harris Teeter grocery store is very convenient to the local hospitals. My foodie friends call it Teeter Thai and they love it; however, I would rank it just average. To me the dishes were too similar to Chinese restaurants. I must admit, I don't know what authentic Thai is like and I get the feeling... More

Thai food is one of my favorite foods, thus I am always craving it and, while traveling, have tried many different Thai restaurants in many different cities. This food here was definitely above the average Thai food. For $7.10 I got the green curry lunch, which includes green curry, fresh white rice, two egg rolls, and some broth soup with... More

Thai Sawatdee seemed like a perfect place for my husband and me to stop at for lunch. Since we were still 90 minutes from home, we left I-40 for this Thai restaurant that is near Forsyth Medical Center and Business I-40. It is easy to fine as it is located inside of a very nice Harris Teeter (another incentive for... More

It's that good :) that we don't mind the drive. I wish we had one on Greensboro, NC. The food is awesome!! The portion sizes are generous. Their complimentary spring rolls are so-so. If you don't mind eating in a small place within Harris teeter....you should definitely go or take-out.

Did I mention they'll serve brown rice if you ask? Yup. That doesn't happen at every Asian restaurant in town. Sure, it's in a Harris Teeter. And sometimes there are communications issues. But hey. The portions are generous (one order becomes dinner, tomorrow's lunch and maybe a late snack). The veggies are fresh, fresh, fresh. Sometimes they screw up the... More

Okay, this really is a mall food-court style restaurant that's not even in a food court but in the fresh produce section of a Harris-Teeter grocery store. Don't let any of the pictures fool you, they're apparently from an older location. You walk up to the counter tucked away in the corner of the store, select from an quite extensive... More

Recently went to an upscale Thai restaurant in Charlotte. I can honestly say that the food at Thai Sawatdee is as good and for some dishes better than the fancy restaurant!

This place has the best (and only) Thai ever located inside a Harris Teeter grocery store. The food is very good -- and you can place your order, shop for groceries and pick it up on the way out. The portions are huge and I always have enough for one more meal -- and sometimes a snack after that! I... More
