Excellent food - almost amazing service

This restaurant does an excellent job of preparing tasty and innovative meals. But the service is sometimes overstated. Our waiter kept telling us that he would provide "amazing service" but there were often things that were overlooked... like proper silverware. Don't set expectations that you... read more

This restaurants name doesn't do it justice. This is one of the best restaurants in Winston-Salem, NC. It is located in a neighborhood area which houses many Wake Forest Grad students and Wake Forest Medical students. There is a big bar on one side and a smaller more intimate fine dining area on the other side. The food and drinks... More

Hidden away in an upscale neighborhood you would never expect to find such a jewel. Very nice, and spacious bar on one side and a small restaurant on the other. Everything was wonderful. Definitely a recommendation - you will enjoy the experience.

This restaurant does an excellent job of preparing tasty and innovative meals. But the service is sometimes overstated. Our waiter kept telling us that he would provide "amazing service" but there were often things that were overlooked... like proper silverware. Don't set expectations that you can't deliver. It was good service, but not amazing.

We have been here before, but it has been a couple of years. Seems like something has changed. Four of us went for an early dinner on a Sunday after a theater matinee. Though they say the dining room is open after 5:30, the dining room was closed this day and we had to eat in the bar. Not bad,... More

I had not been here in quite a while....was very pleased to see all of the paleo/gluten free items. We had a wonderful time and our food was amazing! **However...I saw the review about the 25% tip automatically added on for a group (without being told & not listed on menu)....this would definitely keep me from ever suggesting we do... I ate there in June when our tennis team was in town for states. While our food was delicious, Kenny K, our waiter, slapped all of us with a 25% tip. One friend payed her portion in cash and he asked her if she wanted change!!! He never informed us that the tip was included and it is not stated... More

For years we have visited this restaurant and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, good food and usually decent service. Unfortunately our last 2 dining experiences have benn less than satisfactory causing us to wonder if there has been a change in staffing, just not sure. Most recently we went on a Sun. night, only 2 other patrons when we arrived and... More

This restaurant is pretty awesome...if you can find it, lol! It's located in a partly residential area of Winston-Salem but once you get there, it's a true experience to dine there! The food is wonderful, the atmosphere, very appealing! I'd highly recommend a visit to this venue!

We love to go to Diamondback at any time of year. In the winter, they have a roaring fire in the pub area, and sofas and upholstered chairs to sit while you enjoy a beverage. In the warmer months, outdoor seating offers the chance to mingle with neighborhood folks out walking their dogs. The staff is incredible and the food... More

This restaurant used to be one of my favorites, but over the last year or so, the food has gone downhill and the prices are still high. On this visit I got the stuffed shrimp special and my husband got the pork chop special. The shrimp were probably previously frozen and were overcooked. I didn't think the crab stuffing was... More
