Good Ethnic in Winston Salem

We really like this place. Good nosh options with pita, humus and the usual fare. It's pretty convenient to down town and very reasonably priced.

I love Mooneys. If you enjoy Mediterranean, you'll love this family-owned business. Their fried cauliflower is heavenly, but I never get as much as I want! The food is never heavy or greasy. They offer local beers. Perfect for a date night or meeting up with friends.

Had a business meeting today in Winston Salem. After searching for vegetarian or vegan menu options in the area, this one looked good as is evidenced by their rating on Trip Advisor. We shared a sampling of our own making. Vegetarian Moussaka, Falafel, Fried Cauliflower, Tabouli Salad, French Press Coffee and Baklawa....made a fantastic lunch. We'll be back.

I was in Winston-Salem during Memorial Day weekend for a conference held at the downtown convention Center. I ate here three days in a row and enjoyed it each time. I cannot find Mediterranean food this good anywhere at home, so this was a real treat for me. I ordered different things each day and they were all fabulous.

This hot spot is so authentic! The gyros are amazing.. So many to choose from, meat, chicken, or veggie. The stuffed grape leaves are to die for! My coworkers have had the burgers and they're even amazing (served w true steak fries!). They also serve Krankie's coffee in a French press. Oh my!!! Falafel is fresh as well as the... More

My family loves Mediterranean food. We are in Winston Salem for an event and found this place for lunch. We loved everything we ordered and the whole family had to try a little of everyone's dish! hummus, pita, tabbouleh, lentil soup, chicken and rice, falafel burger!!! We've eaten a lot of Mediterranean food and Mooney's flavors rank near the top... More

It's just a great little corner restaurant. It has a family feel to it and is very casual. The food is very tastey and moderately priced. I enjoy the outdoor seating during warm weather. I paticularly love the gyros.

Go try a sampler! 4 scrumptious choices from the great menu. Really great options: falafel, chicken, beef and loads of veggies. Great selection of beer and wine. Service is friendly, helpful and fun.

I came here to get something quick to take back to my hotel after work. I got the kafta pita and a small baba ganoush. It was about $10 and really tasty. When I walked in, the girl at the counter seemed bored, but piped up after I told her it was my first time. She was very nice after... More

I didn't get to enjoy anything. My first time visiting. Came in at 2:54 right before closing mind you the doors are not yet locked. I'm not sure what I want so I study the menu and when I'm ready to order 3 workers walked right past me without saying a word. Finally a lady says "um. We closed at... More
