Wonderful - excellent service; excellent food

Went here for dinner. I started with the house salad with buttermilk dressing. The greens and veggies were very fresh and the dressing was perfect. I then had the Black Risotto with roasted vegeables - to die for. The risotto was perfect - creamy and was actually a purple color. It was topped with... read more

We decided to try Milners since it has such good reviews......the restaurant does have a nice quiet, elegant ambiance, but I was a bit disappointed in the food. 38.00 for lunch, which for me was a crab cake, cucumber salad, and sweet potato fries. The crab cake was very fishy tasting and maybe I am just used to the type... More

Love this restaurant which has a broad selection of dishes, many with a Charleston touch. Food is dependable good--the only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I do not like the table for 2 set up with banquette and many tables in a row--too close for comfort and conversation. WE always reserve a booth but... More

An upscale, yet casual dining experience. The homemade pimento made my night. Wonderful food and service

We’ve come to Milner’s many times, and have always been impressed. Not this time. This was the first time that it was a huge let down. I’m not sure if they’ve changed management or the head chef, but it was a noticeable difference. Pro’s: -The service. Jason was our server, and we’ve had him before, and he was really good.... More

Wonderful atmosphere. Great food. Attentive wait staff. Excellent place to go on Sunday nights for their jazz in the bar area.

My meal started with a delightful She a crab soup. It was the perfect balance of richness and creaminess! A great way to handle the delicate crab. Next came a 'small plate' of tuna..that had a zesty bit of mustard sauce, that complimented the tuna perfectly. The papaya salad was equally seasoned, with an Asian flair, and just a hint... More

Southern food it is, with a real flair. The staff is unfailingly friendly and helpful, the food consistently good, and the ambience just great!

Although listed as BBQ, it is not restaurant. The one BBQ item was the daily special - brisket. Chewy - chef sliced like it was roast beef, with instead of against the grain. The green beans were very fresh as in uncooked. When requesting table, I asked Hostess if they had BBQ as it did not smell of any smoking.... More

We recently visited after seeing a show at School of the Arts. Our reservations were for 9:00 pm, but the show ran long and we missed our reserved time. After the show, we called to see if they could change the reservation until 9:30. They were very accommodating and did so over the phone. When we got there, I thought... More
