Hot dogs come with chili, slaw, onions, and mustard. Hamburgers and cheeseburgers come with lettuce and tomato. You only need to specify what you do not want, if anything, when ordering. Service is fast and the restaurant is often crowded but the hot dogs are what you should expect--thoroughly delicious. For those of us who have been around more than... More

I've eaten here probably hundreds of times over the years as I grew up just a few miles away. This was one of the original drive-in type hot dog shops in the area and is known for a predictably delicious dog.

Im not a hotdog person but this place makes me feel like Im home. Theres nothing more perfect than the toasted buns, with pimento cheese and chilli.

If anyone wants a great hot dog or hamburger like it should be, this is the place! Always stop there when we go to Winston and wish it was in Oxford! They know how to fix it just right, toasted bun in butter, great chilli, slaw or anything else that they fix. Curb service, if you desire, and all employees... More

Although it's sort of hidden it's a cute little place. Food is decent service was good. Definitely Old fashioned feel which was great. Burger and hot dogs were good.

I go to Kermit's every month and it never gets old. The foot long special is where it is at! The toasted, buttered bun is delicious!

I heard about this place and used the GPS to find it. Food was OK but place was extremely crowded, had to wait too long. I guess that says how popular the place is. It is in a rough neighborhood and I was not comfortable being there. Parking is tough to find.

I'm shocked at the 'recent' poor reviews. Kermit's has always been about quality food and good customer service. The hot dogs have been fixed the same exact way for years and years and yes, they're dyed red but that's the way the regulars like them. I grew up eating Kermit's and my kids eat there now. They serve breakfast now... More

Kermit's Hot Dog House is not located in the best part of Forsyth County, but it's worth the drive. I have been eating there since 1978, and no matter what any other survey says, Kermit's has the BEST hot dogs in Forsyth County. I love the toasted bun and the creamy slaw. And they serve their hot dog wrapped in... More

Good value but the red dye tube steaks are tasteless, fries are good, fills you up but at a cost of leaving you unsatisfied.
