Birthday Dinner 2015

My husband calls me a restaurant SNOB.. not so much but I wanted a place very nice for my birthday. We selected 1703 as I havnt been here in a while. The cocktails were great, nice wine list and I devoured a beautiful piece of Halibut! My only complaint, I like my linen napkins to be black if I... read more

While I was in town visiting a long-time friend he decided to take me to this spot on a Tuesday. They have this thing going on called Tapa Tuesday. We ordered several plates! Everything we had was delicious!! My favorite was the blondie dessert!! It was really yummy!! I also remember the drinks we had were great too! The ambiance... More

The inside of the restaurant is so relaxing, clean and friendly. I came here on a limb one day for Tapa Tuesday. Let me just say the Chef here is unbelievable! Chef Curtis comes up with some of the most interesting and tasty dishes I have ever had in my life. Even their normal day to day menu is delicious!... More

80% of this restaurant's business is derived from either catering or having custom events like rehearsal dinners. They close the restaurant when they get too busy. We went for the Tuesday night Tapas night. The Tapas choices ranged from $8 - $16 and they suggest 2 per person. When we read the tapas descriptions, they were incredibly tempting. One of... More

Enjoyed a business meal with two guests and enjoyed the salmon, precedes by the pumpkin soup and finished the meal with a world-class key lime pie. I have never had a meal at this restaurant which I did not like. I've been to this restaurant at least 15 times over the course of the past three or four years.

Taking friends from Seattle to brunch at 1703 was a sure thing! The eggs Benedict were done to perfection, as usual, and the outside dining and attentive wait staff were superb. Truly a fine, always dependable spot for lunch, brunch, or dinner. Congratulations, 1703!

Being WFU graduation weekend, it appears 1703 tried to accommodate too many diners with too few staff. Although the food was very good the service was far from normal with wait staff rushing all over the restaurant. In our case plates were brought to the wrong table, silverware was missing, incorrect menus presented and a few other issues. They should... More

We just visited for brunch and I paid $13.53 for over cooked scrambled eggs, burnt bacon, bland grits that had been sitting so long the top was dry and crusted and plain dry toast. The toast was the main feature of the plate. The waitress never took a drink order. However, we had water that was poured when we arrived.... More

I was at this little cosy restaurant for a business dinner. The ambience was great. The food was great and of good portions - like a healthy portion not big portions. Parking lot size is a little concerning. But considering the size of the restaurant, I guess it's to be expected I definitely will recommend this for a cozy family... More
