"A Special Mother's Day Treat!"

My daughter and her family treated me and my husband to a Mother's Day dinner at Tripps. When we got there, my grandson met us at the door and took us to their booth. Our server for the evening took all of our drink orders but when they were delivered, it seemed that someone was missing a drink... read more

Came during lunch hour. As we always do. Ordered the trio sampler and replaced one item with shrimp, always have ordered this, but today the general manager came to our table and said it was not an option. She was very rude and wasted a good part of our lunch hour. Not a very good way to keep a customer... More

We were passing through Winston Salem on Sunday around lunch time and the spot we wanted to visit was closed. We decided to try Tripps. They have a good Sunday Brunch menu with three choices under $10. I got the Farmer's Breakfast and my wife got the French Toast. Both were plentiful and excellent. We thought we made a good... More

Tripps is my absolute favorite place to eat. It has such an awesome chill vibe and I just love when they bring the bread and oil/herbs to the table because its like the best start to my meal. I have ordered quite a lot of entrees off the menu (the buffalo wings, the wall street chicken grill, the mushroom swiss... More

Wow, what a difference several weeks can make.......we stopped in prepared for another fine meal, only to be rudely surprised and disappointed. To start, it appeared that the menu offerings had been significantly pared back. By way of example, creamed spinach side - gone. The world's best cinamon baked apples - gone. Replaced by baked beans with oily hamburg. Should... More

I have been eating at Tripps for years at both the Winston Salem and Greensboro locations and the food has always been first rate. My most recent trip last week was at the W-S location for lunch and I had one of their newer dishes, the bruschetta chicken and it was very good. My only complaint was the steamed veggies... More

I took my CEO out to dinner on 12-14-14. The little Asian waiter was very pushy on taking our order, we had 3 appetizers (30.00) we had not even started on those yet and he ask for our order, he came back about every 4 minutes and kept asking. On his 4th attempt we placed our order,( still not ready... More

Got steak the first night, it was delectable, cooked perfectly and delicious. Prime rib sandwich second night, just as good. The service is top notch with a smile, and all requests are taken care of. They pride themselves on customer service.

We had not been here in a long time and wanted to give it a try. My daughter got the delicious cheeseburger and I chose the crab cake sandwich. Both were HUGE and amazing! The service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back!!

In Winston Salem since 1981 but regularly updated the feeling in side is elegant clubby modern. We started off with an appetizer sampler that would have been plenty or three or four. The Tenders were very good and the wings held up pretty well. We’ll branch out next time on the starters. These were good but nothing special. My daughter... More
