We have visited this restaurant on more than one occasion and have always been pleased. The staff from the Owner to the bartenders are all invested in making sure that you have a chance to fully understand your options and their concept. This ranges from ingredient to straws. The people are always pleasant. The fried pork rinds cannot get any... More

Received a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in, and my waiter continued in that vein. The Tomato Florentine soup was full of chunks of tomato and nice pieces of spinach. The oyster salad was equally good. And the sweet potato bread pudding, with caramel sauce and whipped cream, was exquisite - the perfect start to a long weekend... More

Sweet potatoes was recommended by students at a local university as a "must" while in town. Great service and super menu. I had dirty rice with shrimp and it was fantastic! Sweet potato bread pudding was heaven! Give it a try!

The restaurant was nice and cozy a little small but the food was excellent. The fish was something special. I went for lunch not knowing that they closed at 3p and they reopen at 5p. I was seated timely and I got a very friendly waiter which made the little wait go away. I wanted to eat somewhere different and... More

Loved the Sunday chicken. We went for Mother's Day. The kids loved the sweet potato pancakes. The sweet potato fries were excellent.

This is my second time eating here and let me tell you, it was just as good as the last time if not even better. Having that happen is almost a never for me. Every morsel of the shrimp and grits was boldly flavored. Grits were very creamy. As far as the chicken and sweet potato pancakes, the pancakes were... More

We stopped here for lunch. It was delicious!!! We ordered the curry chicken salad, the dirty rice salad and the BLT. It was the best BLT ever! The salads were amazing. We also ordered cornbread that is served warm with creamy sweet butter. Everything was fabulous including the service!

We have eaten at Sweet Potatoes several times over the past few years. It is consistently a memorable meal. Some people refer to the food as "Southern with Soul!" I would call it Southern with Style and Soul!" The Camel City Oyster Salad is one of my favorites. Catfish NOLA is another favorite dish of mine(and my wife's). Spaghetti with... More

My husband and I dined at Sweet Potatoes for dinner and the entire menu was worth trying. Everything looked so delicious. I just told my husband to order any two entrees because I simply could not decide. We settled on the center-cut pork chops with sweet potato corn bread, pan-seared fish and shrimp on a bed of risotto, spicy homemade... More
