"a great place to relax, socialize, and enjoy great food".

My Wife, our Son, and I went to the Village Tavern for dinner. The atmosphere is very nice whether you're inside or outside. A big screen TV and a nice bar are there for enjoying sporting events. Try the meat loaf, it's delicious ! My wife said the crabcake sandwich she ordered was very tasty and... read more

Everything there was homemade and very good. Very good clam chowder. The servers were a little distracted but we all survived. This is a good place to eat when visiting Reynolda House.

We sat inside (with A/C) due to the heat and were fortunate to have a beautiful view of the patio. While others had omlettes that looked great, I picked the French toast - super good. Portions are large and I did not touch the potatoes that came as a side but pretty well cleaned my plate of the French toast... More

I wish Tripadvisor had a rating between average and very good. Maybe just Good. Anyway, I was on my way home from a business trip and stopped in W/S to see my son who is attending an extended camp at Wake. I couldn't ride him in the agency vehicle, so our choices within walking distance were limited. The place was... More

A favorite place to eat in Winston Salem. The food is always very good - great menu selection - very friendly wait staff. Lots of people always enjoy sitting at the bar - local's gathering spot. I prefer a booth in the opposite side of the restaurant... Never a loud group. I do not like the outside eating area because... More

The place was full up when we got there, so we had lunch at the bar, which had just as friendly and attentive service as at any of the nicer tables. The she-crab soup was as good as any I've had on the coast and was worth the trip in itself. I also thought to try the iceberg lettuce wedge... More

Excellent food and drink, good value , large portions, nice (upscale sports bar) atmosphere. VERY friendly service: everyone wants to shake your hand, welcome you, make you feel at home, and they really seem to mean it.

Village Tavern on Reynolda specifically is one of our favorite places to go. Sometimes we meet up with a big group for a nice social outing, sometimes we just just go as a couple. Food is great, service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is just right - attracts a great sophisticated crowd but never feels stuffy. We go there extremely... More

Tucked among the quaint, upscale shops of Reynolda Village, this local favorite is always busy. Arrive at the typical mealtimes and you will usually find you are in for a wait, despite the extra outdoor seating. The menu is large and varied and the food is consistently good. But if you are looking for a quiet corner or a cozy... More

Another good experience at the Village Tavern. It's nice to go to different locations, and get the same excellent food and service. You will always enjoy the Village Tavern!
