This was my first time back at the Village Tavern in years and I was pleasantly surprised with the changes made to the staff. Went in with my wife about five I clock and was greeted promptly by Elena who suggested the seasonal beer which my wife got. Was much better chilled then after it had been sitting a few... More

This is a very busy restaurant and we did not have reservations. Our wait time was about 1/2 hour which wasn't bad. Food and service was excellent. Very good portion sizes and prices were not too bad. We went in the evening and would recommend a daytime visit to tour around Reynolda Village (where restaurant is located).

Food was well prepared. Had the ribeye steak. Everyone at our table had good comments about the food and service. I would recommend this place. Prices were a little high but overall it was a good experience. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

The interior is decorated in dark tones with a very nice looking bar as the centerpiece. The wood tables are a bit crowded in and the place is bustling and convivial. Outdoor seating is available under a large white tent immediately adjacent to the building. The servers are knowledgeable and attentive, working at a quick pace, but they do not... More

After visiting the Reynolda House/Museum and Gardens, sat at the bar on a crowded day, quick service and very tasty food. The calamari with Thai sauce was perfectly flash fried (very tender) and only lightly breaded. Would have liked the tentacle to have been included (where'd they go?) but this is a wonderful dish. Second course was the Tuna Sliders... More

Met a friend for lunch at 11:00a - bloody mary was just as I remembered, the food was even better. The classics never go out of style, especially with good friends.

The atmosphere, staff, and food were excellent. We loved everything and I highly recommend getting dessert. I got the butter cake and it was great!

I have heard for along time about Village Tavern and my son and I finally had the opportunity to stop in Thursday night for dinner. The atmosphere and decor were great. From the moment we walked in felt very welcomed. Greeted very friendly and were quickly seated. The menu is varied and many tremendous selections. We both decided on NY... More

We chose this restaurant based on a recommendation from an employee at our hotel. We enjoyed a very nice meal and the price was reasonable. I am always suspicious of a restaurant that has a menu that is so big and varied, but this place delivered on all of the food we ordered.

Ate here when passing through town. Nice variety on the menu. In fact, the menu was almost too big, but all of the food was good. Kids menu as well. Outdoor seating was nice. Service was a bit slow, but we had a party of 8.
