My sisters and I have been semi-regulars for Sunday brunch for years!!! We are particular about our food so it takes a really great experience to keep us coming back... Friendly service - great food - always a willingness to customize an order - nice atmosphere. Never had a bad meal! Never had an unpleasant experience! Highly recommended!!! LOVE IT!!!

This Village Tavern is more of a bar than a restaurant. It is extremely small, so is you want to eat inside you need to arrive early. It is extremely close to Wake Forest University so lots of college student. All the food is good, but I must warn you very loud!

20 minutes wait was about 15 minutes, good number of choices for diners, cheerful staff, big enough portions that we took portions of two of the plates, good choices for side dishes

It was a seafood day for most of us. My Caesar salad with fried Oysters was nice, if just a little heavy on the dressing. Crab cakes received a thumbs up as did the Shrimp & Grits. Service was outstanding.

Always, always get the crab dip - it's wonderful! Food, service, atmosphere are what keep Village Tavern at the top of my favorite's list. While it's tight corners at the Reynolda establishment - being able to walk the grounds afterwards is always a plus.

We have eaten here so many times over the past ten years, I can't begin to know how often. It's one of our "go-to" places when we visit my husband's mother who lives in the Arbor Acres retirement village. We have often been seated outside in the tented area, and I think we actually prefer that to the darker inside... More
