We enjoyed a family dinner at the Village Tavern. The chicken marsala and firecracker shrimp tacos are delicious. Our server, Brittany, was amazing!

One of only a few dine/wait staff restaurants open for Sunday night dinner, we decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise! Our waiter was very helpful with food and wine selection suggestions. We enjoyed a delicious bruschetta to share, crab cakes and the creme brulee for dessert. I look forward to returning soon.

Our party of five visited for Sunday brunch. Eggs benedict perfectly prepared with poached eggs runny. A hi tuna salad delicious and portions huge. Spinach was delicious. Rolls were warm and delicious. When I stopped in the restroom, I was amazed. A large, clean restroom with hooks I n the stalls and as extra bonus, there was hand sanitizer in... More

This is a great place to eat if you're visiting Winston-Salem. The wait staff and bartenders are very friendly, and the food is really good. Nice selection of beer and wine. Drink specials change every night (watch out for the $6.00 Margeritas---they're huge!) The dishes are well-presented and have interesting combinations of ingredients. Save room for dessert because they're also... More

We visited on a Wednesday night...thank goodness we made reservations on Open Table. Restaurant was packed, as it was 1/2 price wine (by the glass!). We had a leisurely catch up dinner. Service was very accommodating, and attentive. Oyster Po Boy and Mexican Chicken salad both great. Nice side salad. Meets expectations as a wonderful reliably restaurant. A bit loud,... More

This is a "go to" place in Winston Salem and North Carolina because of the drinks. It is a great gathering place for socializing, meeting up with friends, after work get-together so, etc. Plus, the food is good. Highly recommend.

I always visit Village Tavern when I'm in Winston-Salem. It's my go-to place for a great lunch or dinner. Order the Homemade Potato Chips with Ranch Dressing. The chips are served fresh from the fryer & the dressing is addictive! This visit I tried the Gastropub Burger and it was delicious! The burger was perfectly cooked and served on a... More
