Not to be missed!!

In town for an overnight at Graylyn with a desire for something special. We found that and more at this wonderful restaurant close by. Not much to look at from the outside, the interior is welcoming and charming and with what follows becomes a memorable intimate experience. The prix fixe menu is... read more

With a large group, the chef came to the table to explain the daily choices (very impressive). The appetizers, salad, soup and dessert courses were all absolutely amazing (5-star!). The entree (triggerfish) was disappointing because it was seriously over-cooked (others said the same). The flavors were tremendous, however. I'll chalk the over-cooking to the large group. The staff were attentive... More

Nice dining experience. My wife had the duck, and i had the filet mignon. The duck skin was crispy, and my steak i could cut with my butter knife. The soup appetizer was a carrot curry soup and was pretty good. The sides that come with the meal were just ok. Its 60 dollars a meal plus drinks. My Pepsi... More

What a wonderful experience. Glad that we lucked out and got reservations. Very quaint atmosphere and they only seat a handful of tables. I highly suggest you make reservations well in advance. Wine prices are also very reasonable.

Valentines dinner at Fabian's on the Thursday before Valentines Day was superb. I wrote on my last review to book Valentines Day six month early , I forgot and called around Thanksgiving and was to late for Valentines Day . What's left to be said about Fabian's ? Simply one of the finest restaurants in North Carolina , a true... More

The kindest people own and work there. Love them. I couldn't get reservations because they were booked and I tried with only a day or two notice. Best kept secret in WS.

We lived in Winston Salem for several years before moving to a bigger city. I must say that despite eating at some very nice and highly rated places, this remains one of the best meals we have ever eaten. Well worth the money, and every single course and item exceeded expectations. At some point we will probably need to visit... More

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Fabians. The ambience is lovely. We had a nice, relaxed dinner. Bill and Diane were wonderful and made sure we were taken care of. Here are my suggestions: -A vegetarian option (hearty tofu perhaps) can be offered regularly as one of the main dish choices. -There should at least two options to... More

This is a great little restaurant. The food is always exquisite. Ingredients are locally sourced. Wine list is pretty good. Highly recommended!

We had dinner at Fabian's on Friday. It truly is a unique evening as Bill, the chef and owner, comes out and describes the menu with great pride and detail. The bartender and one of the waitresses is his wife, Diana, who also takes a lot of time assisting with drinks, wine, etc. with a great deal of knowledge. The... More
