Unique, quality menu

Willows Bistro puts a classy spin on any dish they serve. Today I had the cream of onion & peppered bacon soup, which was fabulous. We ordered a plate of house made potato chips, also very good and everyone at the table loved them. This is a good choice for lunch or dinner in Winston-Salem.

Happy to be having great experiences at Willow's again as it was hit-or-miss for awhile. Been for lunch twice recently and had outstanding service both times; our food came quickly despite there being lots of people there. Very excited about the new grilled miso marinated tempeh and arugula salad; the tempeh portion is generous (and tasty!) and the combination of... More

I was directed here by the Brookstone Inn, which is easy walking distance. It's a warm, welcoming space, with friendly service, attracting (on a Sunday afternoon), a youngish crowd. I had the eggs Benedict, which were very good. They are switching to a local tea provider and serve local honey. Noise level is comfortable although the dining room was nearly... More

I had 3 great lunches here. The first thing I noticed is the very welcoming and friendly manner of the staff, professional staff who remembered where I sat and what I ordered. The soups are a must. I had parsnip soup one time, black-eyed pea soup with collard greens and black-eyed pea with country ham and cornbread croutons - all... More

I have eaten here 3-4 times, all lunches. I've always had excellent service. Friendly, knowledgable & attentive. The kitchen is partially "open". You can see the chefs working from a few stools on a counter that overlooks the kitchen or as you're passing to your table. I'm a fan of this concept because you can see that the kitchen is... More

This restaurant is housed in an old train station depot. It has a full bar. I enjoyed a white sangria for lunch. The salads are really tasty and creative. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

The food is delicious, and is locally procured. The service is excellent. The decor is comfortable. Talking is easy. Prices are reasonable. Chef Travis came around to our table. Listening, I heard the passion and detail for preparation, presentation, and producing a fine drinking and dining experience. Items on the menu are fresh, local, and seasonal.

We went here for our work Christmas lunch, turns out it was a really nice place to do this. Not the easiest place to find but worth the trip. First, located in an old train station, cool. Dining options inside and out. The inside had an upscale warm vibe to it. The menu was varied which should satisfy nearly everyone.... More

Some times when dining out, the description on the menu differs somewhat from what food is presented before you...not so at Willow Bistro. My husband had what he feels is THE BEST ROASTED TURKEY SANDWICH that he has ever tasted. Frankly I am a little hurt, (not really). It was just a delight to see him enjoy it so much.... More
