Former Train Depot

This is a beautiful restaurant in an old train depot -- a definite hidden treasure! The crab cakes and grits were incredible and I would certainly come back to try additional items on their menu. We had great service and everyone enjoyed their dinner. A little on the pricy side, but very good!

Called ahead to see if they have a bar (they do) and the beers were $3 the night we visited. Didn't eat anything but the food we saw going out of the kitchen looked amazing and they do a brisk business. Every table was full! The service was friendly and accommodating. Will return for a meal.

Had been looking forward to trying out this generally well liked Winston bistro. The brick decor of the old train station is very appealing and the a/c especially appreciated on a hot muggy day. Save terrace eating for spring or fall. My tuna salad with pineapple was pleasant and made more so by a cool glass of prosseco. My companion's... More

Glad we stopped here for dinner. One of the best steaks I have ever had. Good waiter who made the night enjoyable.

The quality of food matches the price. The best seat in the house is at the bar, where you can watch your dinner be made. Great for dates!

I sat at the bar. The tuna was fantastic. Cocktails were mixed to perfection. Bartenders and waitstaff were very friendly. Great atmosphere as well.

Stopped in on a rainy Friday evening for dinner. Had some great food and enjoyed visiting with Chris, our waiter at the bar. The food was good and and atmosphere was delightful. We'd definitely recommend this as a good stop!

Small quaint restaurant in an old train depot. Wonderful freshly made different cocktails. I had the Vegetable Napoleon, grilled asparagus, grilled portabella and grilled artichoke layer in puff pastry. I added grilled chicken with it. Came with honey garlic mashed sweet potatoes and sautéed shard. Absolutely wonderful. Everyone got something different and everyone was pleased. Will return very some to... More

I have eaten at Willows Bisto many times. The food and service overall is very good. But dining there recently for me was a big disappointment. I took a friend who had the flank steak salad and enjoyed it. I mistakenly ordered the flatbread margarita pizza which was horrible. First of all, it wasn't flatbread. It's made with a tasteless,... Love going to Willow's Bistro! Always has yummy food! The inside decor has that eclectic/artsy feel to it done in a tasteful way. The flavorful combinations of foods make it hard to decide what to eat. Their chicken salad croissant is so fresh and tasty. If you're in the area visiting Old Salem or it's weekend Farmer's Market, definitely stop... More
