Worth the Trip

I made a reservation for Mozelle's and it was well worth the trip. The food was good (especially the tomato pie and collard greens) and the service was stellar. The size of the restaurant is small so I highly encourage you to make reservations, but it was well worth the trip.

Here for a law school visit at the university we wanted to find a local place to try. Based on what other reviewers recommended, we made a reservation. We were seated right away, our server was attentive and did a great job the entire meal. We had fried green tomatoes for an app, the fried chicken and shrimp and grits... More

Took my wife to Mozelle's for her birthday. We really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is really nice inside and out. They have a nice patio and also tables with umbrellas on the sidewalk. The food was very very good. The service was also top notch. We will be back. Took a horse drawn carriage ride as well. The stand is... More

My friends and I have celebrated 2 birthdays here and the food was wonderful. The tomato pie is a favorite of ours. Service is excellent.

It's a small, locally-owned bistro with indoor and sidewalk cafe seating. The cuisine has decidedly upscale twists on Southern cooking; everything is freshly prepared, nicely plated, and delicious! A great place for casual dining. There was not a seat to be had after 6:30 on Monday evening, so do go online and make a reservation. The entree special that night... More

We just moved to the area & have gone here twice now. Once for dinner & once for brunch, both great experiences. For dinner we had a pumpkin bruschetta (think it was a special) It was unique & delightful. We had the meatloaf & shrimp & grits, both excellent. For bunch, we both had mozelles benedict, very good! Small place... More

i went with my husband and teen daughter while in Winston-Salem to visit Wake Forest. We sat at a table outside, and they provided blankets in case it got too cold (fortunately we didn't need to use them). We had charming, personal service from a waiter who was very helpful with suggestions. We all loved our food - fried chicken... More

I've been to Mozelle's 2 times, both for Sunday brunch and I'm just convinced that it is overrated. I can't really speak for the other meals they offer but I had really high hopes for the place. The food was okay. Not outstanding but okay. I will probably give them another try, just to be fair... maybe for lunch or... More

I had the meatloaf. It was honestly the best meatloaf I've ever had out. Just really fresh, well-prepared food.
