We were introduced to Mozelle's by friends. One of their favorite places to dine. Somewhat small place. Wintertime for sure. During warmer weather there is "outdoor" outdoor seating. I say that, because they have a side room that is an "outdoor" room that has "walls", heaters and blankets in the colder months. Service is good. Food choices are an array.... More

I dined here yesterday with my sister and cousin. We were immediately seated, and had good service. My sister and I had many questions about the menu, and the server was knowledgeable about the selection, and patiently told us about many of the items on the menu. She also adjusted the temperature on the patio to accommodate us. We settled... More

As die hard northerners, we went to Mozelle's last night during our college visits to get a sense of what southern cooking is all about. I think it's probably a very nice restaurant, I just ordered the wrong thing. We ordered the fried pickles, Brie and jam and tomato pie. My daughter got the Caesar salad and by the end... More

For Saturday lunch they offered the dinner menu and a lunch/brunch menu too. Not surprisingly, the dinner menu was more expensive and the lunch items were more reasonable. From signature dishes like shrimp & grits and fried chicken to unique items like tomato pie, the food tasty and unique with a southern twist. With a larger mixed group we sat... More

My boyfriend and I travel often for business and pleasure, and have made it a point to try all the "best fried chicken" restaurants in the various cities we visit. We've had some amazing dishes, but Mozelle's fried chicken is probably at the top of our list, if not our absolute favorite of them all. The fried chicken is delicious... More

Good pimento cheese bacon sandwich. And tomato soup! The service was good. Greeting not so good. Small place quaint and cute. Not much else around.

I've dined at Mozelle's for both lunch and dinner and had two tremendously different experiences. At lunch, we were seated on the porch and had fantastic service. I ordered the tomato pie, expecting something similar to quiche, but was disappointed to find that it was so cheesy it couldn't even hold it's shape when put on the plate. I wasn't... More

We were in town for business and chose Mozelle's based on other favorable Trip Advisor reviews. When we arrived at the restaurant, we approached the stand where the hostess was standing (literally two feet away). She was typing furiously away on her phone. Out of idle curiosity (mostly because this is a terrible Gen Y habit), I decided to wait... More

We had lovely food at Mozelle's. The food is artfully and tastefully prepared-amazing twists on Southern favorites. I absolutely love the meatloaf with Havarti and Tomato chutney. Unfortunately, there were several flies inside, and it was very unpleasant. The lady at the table in front of us began swatting them with her menu. I don't know what Health Dept. rules... More
