Wow….where to begin on how good this meal was. I was returning from Myrtle Beach, SC coming up I95 north with my entire family siblings and kids, we decided to stop for dinner. We put BBQ food into google search engine and came up with Parkers BBQ in Wilson, NC fairly close to highway 4-5 minutes only 4 hours from... More

Had a nice lunch here. I'm not generally a fan of NC barbecue, being more a tomato sauce guy myself, but the barbecue was good, the cole slaw was good and the corn sticks were good. Get the idea?? The wait staff was friendly and answered our questions well. We were a bit late for lunch so they weren't busy,... More

There are massive numbers of us either partly autistic or wearing hearing aids so that any restaurant music or TV is just deafening and ruins any chance of us talking at all. At that point, food taste is irrelevant. I so wish more places would understand this. What is so wrong with your food that you feel you must deafen... More

Had dinner at Parker's tonight on the strength of its TripAdvisor reviews and the opinions of the business associates I've been visiting. This was my first foray into Carolina barbecue, and other than the use of vinegar, I didn't know what else to expect. Location: Easy in/easy out to Highway 301. One of those long buildings that could just as... More

Obviously, a popular local restaurant as the parking lot was near full and lots of cars pulling in. We were quickly seated and shown the menu which is quite limited as this is a barbeque restaurant. We had the barbeque platter (chopped barbeque) which included your entre' and choice of two sides accompanied by cole slaw and a plate of... More

Take the extra 5 minutes to find this diamond in the rough. Take the group and order family style. You get all you can eat, tasty, homestyle food. We fed four and ordered a meal to go for under $50! They stay busy, the parking lot was full. People are circling for parking. There is a good reason for that!

We always seek out local restaurants when we travel and we were not disappointed. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The sweet tea was everything we were looking for. The hush puppies were very nice, Yummy barbeque. The service w as quick and efficient. Traveler be aware: cash only. No credit cards and only local checks but I would still... More

Then - I'd say... run, do not pass go, eat at Parker's in Wilson, NC. It's tough to say that any restaurant is the best you've ever had a meal in - because each dining venue is so different.... So yes, I love Apicius in Paris, and love, love The Grill Room at the Four Seasons, but absolutely yes, I... More

Great food, always great service, and nice down home atmosphere. You're food will be served to you in a matter of minutes! Even when going to takeout. My family enjoys getting food to go and eating under the picnic area. My favorite choices from parkers- bbq chicken, shrimp (both kinds), hushpuppies and of course BBQ! Great place to eat in... More
