Prepare to tailgate outside in the parking lot. Or drive up the road to brewmaster for a beer or 2. Because the wait is worth it. Very simple menu and very simple meal. But damn is it good. You choose size of cut and how it's cooked. Simple stupid. But good.

A return visit for me. Nothing fancy about this place and there is only one thing on the "menu", in fact there is no menu. They bring a side of beef to your table and cut the size you want. Well stocked salad bar, baked potato and grilled bread with your dinner. Excellent

One of a kind place. No choice of sides. You get a baked potato and a salad. Your meat is cut at the table and you pick the size steak you want. They cook it to your specifications. It was all very good. We had been here before and will go again. We waited about 45 min for a table... More

Husband read about this place in Our State magazine. There are no menus, no prices. You get a ribeye steak, a baked potato and a salad bar. Your only choice is what size steak you want and your beverage. Husband had tea. I had water. Food and staff were great, but we were shocked to see the $65 bill, not... More

One of a kind. Great Ribeye steak cooked perfectly. Generous wine and drink pours. Wonderful fresh salad bar. Well worth the wait. Very special.

Every time is just as good as the first. Very small building. About ten tables. If you are not there when they open expect to wait. The service is also always top notch.

As a western native, the concept of great steak in N.C. made me skeptical to say the least. However this VERY homestyle little place had better food at a better price than any of the "genuine" steakhouses I have visited in Omaha, Texas or the west. There is no ostentation of any sort here, but the old-timey salad bar has... More

We found this hole in the wall by luck on a Friday night. Not being familiar with the area, we turned to TA. This place was ranked #1 on 10/2/15 and it was well deserved. Steak was top notch. Being a meat lover, the menu-only-choice of Ribeye, baked potato and salad bar was perfect. Flavor was fantastic, steak was perfectly... More

Heard some good talk about Beefmasters and decided to have dinner there during a business trip. The food was great, salad was awesome, the guy who brought out the steak when you first decide what you want was very nice. Got the 10 oz and have to say it was the best steak I've ever ate. Everything was good until... More
