Hard to believe it is ranked number two, I went expecting a lot and left with little. Overall it was okay, nothing great nothing horrible. I would rate closer to 23 or 24. If go keep expectations low and might enjoy yourselves.

All my Mom wanted for her birthday was to dine at SoCo with her family & some friends. It was an awesome night, as it has been every time I've dined here. I'm so glad we were able to take Mom where she wanted to go to celebrate! The atmosphere, service and food were all a 5 star (or above)... More

We have been to SoCo twice and will not go back. The first time we sat at the chefs table and it was a good experience. Our last trip we sat in the main dining room and as before the food was good, but this trip we had horrible service and the waitress was rude. We had a large group... More

First class all the way - the food, the service, the food (yes, that good!) and the best beer and wine list in Wilson. A wonderful adult atmosphere, farm setting, and beautiful facility. It took a year since moving to the area to finally book a reservation with my husband, and so glad we did. We are already considering a... More

I found this restaurant while searching for a new interesting place for my husband's birthday and I'm glad that I did. The price was 50$ for 4 courses which we felt was very reasonable. There are plenty of delicious wine and beer selections by the glass. We had each item on the prix fixe menu and they were all delicious.... More

We overnighted in Wilson NC just to go to SoCo. It was 100% worth it! The $50 per person (without wine) meal consisting of 3-4 courses created by the chef were divine, well balanced, right portioned and imaginative. As a foodie I was in my element and the fact that most of the ingredients are "on-the farm" grown and therefore... More

We saw SoCo featured on the Public TV station and after viewing their web site decided to make the trip from Durham to give it a try – and I’m glad we did! After taking some country roads, we arrived at the farm. Off to one side were the horses – on the other the goats and chickens roamed the... More

This is a really neat restaurant set on a farm in the country. You really feel transported to a country estate and an immediate sense of relaxation sets in, even though it's a short drive from Wilson. The food was excellent on our trip, with perfectly cooked lobster, pork belly and sirloin highlighting some innovative dishes. They have a beer... More

We were driving from Washington, DC to the outer banks in NC and this restaurant/B&B/horse farm is paradise. If you want great food and comfy accommodations, this hidden treasure in Wilson, NC is perfect (for anyone driving south or north on i-95, it's right off the interstate). If you are a foodie, the restaurant's pre-fixe menu will blow you away,... More

We stayed 2 nights in the very nice suite upstairs. We had one meal which was absolutely excellent, equaling top restaurants in Washington DC, where we live. Innovative american food done with a great talent of balancing ingredients and cooked to perfection. In addition this is a small place with a, despite the sophisticated food, quite relaxed atmosphere. You have... More
