Go now! Late this year, they will no longer serve daily meals but will instead focus on ticketed special events and—— wait for it—— home delivery of their food! For now, experience lovely, four course dinners presented at 6p and 8p only. Wine pairings are wonderful and Kimberly is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about her wines. Three couples found this by word of mouth when we couldn't get a table at Second Empire in Raleigh. We feel so lucky to have stumbled upon it. It feels like a rustic version of our favorite fine dining restaurant with the same refined attention to the balance of flavor and texture but with an ambiance that recalls an auberge... More

We had a group of 10 (five couples) that met for the prix fixe dinner with the wine pairing. We had wonderful evening of food, wine, fun, and fellowship. The experience was laid back and the staff was very knowledgeable and willing to share background information on the food and wine. The owner/chef, Jeremy, came out at the end of... More

nearly perfect fine dining A bit of a hike from the Triangle (55 minutes from the Crabtree area), but well worth it. This one is hard to categorize. The atmosphere and price is more along the lines of casual fare. But, the food is absolutely, over-the-top, more in-line with fine dining. And, especially compared with other places in the Wilson... Soco graciously fed our very large group, buffet style. The menu included pork bellies, fried Mac and cheese, grits, spicy shrimp, and tender braised beef. Dessert was chocolate truffles and beignets. The food was good. Was anything so outstanding, I would choose it again?- maybe the grits and the beignets. The chocolate truffles seemed sour tasting. I am not 100%... More

I want to start this review by saying that I have the unique opportunity to travel the country for work, and as such I eat out for roughly 90% of my meals. As a true foodie I have been blessed to experience some of the most highly regarded restaurants in the world - from the best steakhouses in Chicago to... More

We had the same menu tonight as the previous post and I do not think she was at the same place. The owners and staff are amazing as is the food. Tonight we had duck sausage, an amazing salad, turkey pot pie and lamb chops. All I can say is that I have eaten at places all around the world... More

If you like an adventure and enjoy ambience, then, by all means, go to SoCo. If you are looking for food worth the $50 prix fixe price, don't go. We started with a kale salad, which was nice except for that they had sprinkled some small, flavorless brown items over it that had to be pushed aside as they tasted... More

Nicole, We are very lucky to do what we do here on our farm, and our guests' enjoyment is paramount--both personally and professionally. I checked on the dining room several times the night you two dined with us, and had no idea you were so completely dissatisfied. Naturally, I was surprised when I read your review. I don't know if... We were visiting relatives who picked this restaurant. We looked it up-prix fixe, expensive, limited selection (how do you choose between venison stew and pork belly?), in the middle of cotton and tobacco fields outside Wilson. how could it be worth it? It is. This is one of the few restaurants where you should just surrender your decision-making and your... More

The restaurant is quite small, and the menu is Prix Fixe. Everyone gets same wonderful salad, choose between two appetizers, two main courses and two desserts. And the menu changes every couple of weeks. There were six of us and thus between us we had every menu item, and nobody had anything to complain about. The wine pairings with all... More
