Real nice classic old town grill

We like to try local non-chain places and weren't disappointed. Had lunch and it was really good. Would go back any time in town and highly recommend it.

Went around 9 am on Sunday. Had to wait for a booth but not too long. The hostess was a really hard worker and greatly impressed us with her wonderful sense of humor, colorful hair and tattoos. Our waitress was very harried but very pleasant. The place has the rep for the best breakfast in Wilmington. Hmm! Our food arrived... More

Although we had to wait about 30 minutes on a Sunday morning, it was worth it! The biscuits were moist and the grits were the best I had ever eaten. The menu was not overwhelmingly long, but it was still difficult to choose. I had an open faced biscuit topped with a fried green tomato slice, eggs, and onion gravy.... More

I went here for both breakfast and lunch. Both meals were delicious. I would highly recommend eating here.

So apparently this place is the place to go for breakfast when in Wilmington. I had the shrimp and grits and it was delish. My daughter enjoyed her eggs. Service was friendly and the amount of people served was amazing. Highly recommend this place for breakfast.

My sister and I had brunch at the Dixie Grill on our last morning in Wilmington. We both got the Dixie special: 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast for $7. My eggs were scrambled just right, the bacon crisp as I had requested, and my sister said they got her "over easy" order just right too. I paid a... More

The Dixie never disappoints. If you are going on Saturday, you'd better get there early as the lines are long. Dixie Benedict was superb. Hubby loved the pancakes. A don't miss in Wilmington!

Have eaten here several times and enjoy the breakfast the most. The Benedict is great - and even better when you ask for sausage gravy, The grits are particularly good so choose these over home fries. The Pecan-Strawberry-Banana French toast is a treat but very sweet. You'll enjoy a variety of dishes. Service is always attentive and sincere.

A great breakfast from opening 'til closing. Eggs, pancakes, waffles, grits, bacon? We've had them all. Lunch is, also, available. Classic, funky restaurant in Downtown Wilmington. Friendly wait staff.
