Terribly disappointed in your service today! Was told the wait will be at most 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, we watched the hostess sit a group of 4 men that came in a few minutes after us. When asked, she lied and said she called our name 3 times. No! You asked us once if we wanted to sit at... More

Easily the most handsome staff in Wilmington's Historic Downtown. I can't say enough about how incredibly handsome the kitchen staff is. The food is really good too.

This place was an old mom-and-pops diner meets a younger cool. Located in the historic part of Wilmington (a block or so up from the River Walk), it is a great location with an eclectic feel. We were there for breakfast and I had shrimp and grits and my wife had a more traditional breakfast meal. Both were excellent and... More

We had an amazing breakfast here. Service was great and food was excellent. I had the sweet potato pancakes and they were great. Everything as piping hot and fresh. I would return!

The Dixie Grill's food is great and it's exactly the kind of spot you want to go to for breakfast, just like everyone else in Wilmington. It's opens early and is always busy. Working at a downtown hotel, we encourage our guests to go there, but warn them of wait times and suggest they go early. This past weekend, we... More

This is a long skinny little restaurant in downtown Wilmington with lots of great food, perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or a casual supper. We were there for breakfast, and enjoyed their egg dishes and their shrimp and grits, a lot. The side order of sweet potato pancakes was wonderful. Our services was excellent, the restroom was clean, and we... More

My husband and I really like to go here for Breakfast on Sunday morning. The food is great, staff is great too. We like to go early as it gets really busy on a Sunday morning. If you go a bit later there will be a line as this is a very popular place, wait time isn't too bad tho,... More

We ate at the Dixie Grill for the first time yesterday morning. Breakfast took a while to arrive but was worth waiting for. I had the Huevos Rancheros which was quite good, cooked just right and arrived piping hot. The big surprise is that they also have a full bar on the premises. Next time a Bloody Mary might be... We went to this diner on a recommendation. Very cool place, seems like a local favorite. Wasn't all that impressed with the selection and the service was really lacking. We barely saw our waitress. I would probably try it again to see if we just had a one off experience but this time was a bust.

Busy as can be at 2 in the afternoon. Service was hometown friendly and fast. So many menu options and everything seemed homemade and prepared fresh. Would definitely stop here again!!
