Delicious Diner Food!

So good! Our hotel recommended this place and it's easy to see why she called it her favorite restaurant. We waited about 20 minutes and sat at the counter. The place is HOPPING! Loved the food and atmosphere. We had a mix of lunch and breakfast food, and all of us enjoyed what we ordered. We will definitely visit again the next time in Wilmington.

Went to lunch-first time there. Waited for a table and waitress seemed irritated that we did not know what we wanted-I told her this was our first visit. She kinda warmed up when we ordered. Order arrived Dixie Benedict-very disappointed considering the price-sure it was a canned biscuit, fried green tomatoes were tiny-potatoes were good. Husband ordered Cajun chicken and... More

We love going to breakfast here when traveling to Wilmington. There is usually a wait for a table but it is not too long and it is well worth it. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is always fast and friendly!

We went for breakfast and didn't eat again that day til dinner. Breakfast was huge and delicious. I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Scramble( Scrambled eggs, bacon, cheddar jack cheese served in a biscuit,) and my husband had the Corned Beef Hash ( In-House Roasted Brisket with potatoes, peppers and onions topped with provolone cheese, served with two eggs and toast).... The line to be seated wasn't too bad. We were fortunate enough to be seated at a table instead of the counter. Simple breakfasts were ordered. Eggs, pancakes, bacon. The wait to get the food was entirely too long for something this simple. The breakfast itself was good and it arrived hot.

I am not sure what was worse on our visit, the heat or the flies. We stopped in for lunch on one of the hottest days of summer in Wilmington and their air was broken. Did they close down, or even warn customers that the air was broken? Of course not. We thought at first that it was just taking... More

We visit Wilmington several times a year, and usually go the Dixie Grill for lunch at least once. We stopped in for a late lunch, about 1:30 PM. The restaurant was not crowded. We placed our order, and the waitress brought our drinks promptly. After a few minutes, the couple at the table next to ours got up and told... More

Great breakfast e a child morning, the service is quick and fast. The line maybe long when you get there but they will seat you fast. It will be worth the wait.
