Lots of choices, house specialties, plus your traditional breakfast choces. Best pancakes and grits ever had.

We visited on a busy Saturday morning and almost changed our mind. Food and service were great and one of our best meals in Wilmington

My brothers (3) and I met our baby sister, Trish at the Dixie Grill for breakfast last Thursday, October 29, 2014 on our way home from our annual 'brothers get together at Myrtle Beach'. She lives in Wilmington and recommended it. She also had a coupon for a discount which always gets my attention. We had omelets, pancakes, eggs and... More

Yummy southern breakfast, big, tasty, and filling! The Huevos Verduras was excellent, as were the sweet potato pancakes. The biscuits and gravy, mmm.

We had such high hopes for an amazing breakfast at the Dixie Grill but it just didn't happen. My wife had the banana, strawberry and pecan french toast. She was very disappointed. The bananas and strawberries were not fresh cut. The bananas were mush and the strawberries just weren't good at all because they were stirred in with the hot... More

Was told this cafe had been in same location since early 1900's. No wonder. Service was good and food was excellent. Cafe was clean and quaint. Loved the Tarheel burger and Phillie Cheesesteak. Don't pass this cafe up. Well worth the stop.

My husband and I visit several times a month. Great place to bring the family, it's worth the wait! My go to is the fried green Tomato BLT with sweet potato fries!

When asking people leaving the restaurant if the food was good, they all said it was great. My hub, myself, and a friend met for lunch and were not disappointed. The onion rings and fries were seasoned perfectly and my club sandwich was packed full of delicious meats and cheeses. The burgers were raved about by my lunch companions. As... More

The Dixie Grill is the type of local spot that is a good find on a road trip. It's won the local "best breakfast" vote a number of years. A group of people out front waiting was a good sign and it didn't take long to seat us. With us not being from NC, we weren't aware of the "no... More
