Scrumptious Seafood

Looking for a place you can get raw oysters or crack into some crab legs this is the place for you. Decorated whimsically with brightly colored chairs and tables. The crab legs are so juicy and dripping with butter that one can put on if they so desire that you might need to wear a raincoat. Fresh... read more

Great steam oysters. I was not sure about steam since I was think raw but the steam was tasty and plentiful. There is a coating of something like paprika or red pepper. It jazzed it up. Not spicy but finger licking good. Had their fish tacos too and lots of fish and very flavorful.

Outstanding Fresh Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller, and Oysters Imperial. Over several years and a number of visits, I have never been disappointed.

Dock Street is not just my favorite place to eat when I'm in Wilmington, it's my favorite place to eat period! Don't let the small location fool you, this place is worth it's weight in gold. It is a place where even my picky child will eat. I mean, he eats plain pasta there but you have no idea how... More

The food here was delicious and the atmosphere cozy and quaint. The waitress seemed genuinely concerned that because we didn't finish our food that we did not enjoy it but that was truly not the case! Its also dog friendly!

I've been here several different times, but the oysters are always delicious. I'm not sure I've had anything else to eat there. They have 5 or 6 different hot sauces available as well. I tend to just hang out at the bar and order a beer with a few dozen steamed oysters. I will also say that the shuckers there... More

This old time Wilmington standard is a great town experience. Bring a friend and order the big mixed bucket. You may be seated at a picnic table (inside), and it may run a tad noisy, but service is great, patrons all look happy to be there and you wil find an abundance of whatever is fresh on the coast, during... We visited on Dec 29th. While the food and service were good we were very disappointed with the portions. 8 medium shrimp DO NOT equal 1/2 lb. When we questioned our waitstaff we were told it is what it is. Before you order just know what you're getting.

This is not how we conduct ourselves and we have reached out to this reviewer so we can send them a Gift Certificate. We serve 21-24 count shrimp and they should have received at least 12 shrimp. It saddens us as owners when something as simple as this to rectify isn't handled properly. More

Not a large restaurant and the decor is not impressive, but you go for the oysters and casual atmosphere.

We go here at least once a month for oysters. But there is much more in this little gem of a place, good pours and good food!
