We first went to Wilmington in early August and loved everything about it- especially Casey’s. After returning to the DC area, all we could talk about was how good the service and food was. So, we decided to visit Wilmington again and the first stop was Casey’s. We realize that the people of Wilmington are just all around friendly people,... more

The first time I went to Casey's Buffet was with my church 2 years ago. We just went again last week. The food is awesome. I love the catfish the best. Doesn't need any season at all. I had two big plates of just about everyting. Te servers and the owners are the best. I can't wait until my church... more

I have to laugh at the reviews busting on the atmosphere. Do you go to Golden Coral for the atmosphere? Uh, no. Same thing at Casey's. You go because the food is greasy and delicious...and cheap! I've never had anything that isn't yummy. It's got that family appeal -- don't be surprised if the people at the next table strike... more

I am going to ruffle a few tail feathers with this one but somone has got to give an honest review of this place. Come on people this place is a dump! How could anyone want to go back here? The food is gross. EVERYTHING is fried. I think they even had breaded, fried lard chunks on the buffet. I'm... more

I tried to go to Casey's back in the 1st week of August, and they were closed for a week! cmon, you close for a week during your peak money-making period! not a smart move! but I was able to go back on Wed. April 1st, 2009, I went around 8 PM, and the food tasted as fresh as it... more

I always looked forward to Casey's. The BBQ was extremely greasy and made from Boston Butt. Cabbage seasoned with margarine. Most of the veggies were from a can. This is country cooking? The fish, and fried chicken were cooked too long. Quite a few Hispanic servers. nothing against them, but I was used to the uncw students waiting on us. more

January 23, 2009 After reading the reviews we finally went to Casey's with a bit of sckepticism. It is truly country cooking - park your diets at the door. But it was fun and tasty. The fried fish, pork bbq, slaw and sweet potatoes were outstanding. If you want northern friends to understand southern meats, this is the place. Not... more

We tried Casey's while visiting Wilmington this past week. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly; they did everything they could to make us comfortable. The food was also very good, (the okra and cobblers were especially good) and at about $10 per person (drink not included) quite competitive compared to many other area restaurants. The only drawback... more
