Great, trendy dining spot in excellent location

I loved going here. We were in Wilmington for the weekend last weekend and stumbled on this place thanks to TripAdvisor. We are in our 20's and Circa 1922 is very trendy, with a young crowd. There was a live piano player which was a good add to the mix. I ordered the filet- it was not close to... read more

Food was wonderful! The muscles were phenomenal! The waitstaff was very attentive and helpful with making decisions when being torn between several dishes If I had to pick a downside, even though it was very romantic, it was a little dark in there. I could not see the menu but with my handy-dandy cell phone I was able to use... More

The food and atmosphere make this place one of my favorite stops in Wilmington. If you love sangria, do yourself a favor and order the rose sangria.

They had an amazing, fresh tomato appetizer which has been removed. The ceviche has a weird after taste, but the bruschetta (especially the shroom one) is good. The staff is a little scary and not very friendly. I don't go anymore because I know I'll be disappointed. Got to Pinpoint or Caprice for good, fine dining.

A restaurant is about more than the food, to me, anyway. This makes it hard to review Circa. The food was very good, (had a featured salad and the hanger steak.) The service was good, no real complaints there. The vibe was really off, though. Most diners departed early to go see a movie next door (check that place out,... More

I must say that the key to any good dining experience is the quality of service provided. For us, our dinner experience was a varied mix that left our overall experience as just average. We ate here for dinner over the July 4th week. The aesthetics are warm and historic, which we liked. Our takeaway from our overall experience was... More

love to try different from home food! great tapas, choices, and range of prices to suit any wants! Wine menu also nice! enjoyed every bite and would return! (waiter wasn't so friendly but didn't deter us from a great experience)

The servers are friendly and the interior is perfect, but the food portions are small especially for the price and are nothing to brag about. Their appetizers are the best thing they offer. I love going for tapas and wine though.

Good food, good mixed drinks, huge desserts, and a nice old atmosphere. The only negative was that it was a little too loud downstairs.

The food is very pricey for a nice dinner. The atmosphere is great for a date. I didn't think the food was worth what we paid. The sangria was great and very tasty.
