Die deutsche Cafe war Exzellente

Atmosphere was quant, and cozy. Food was good, but average, not many authentic German dishes offered. We did go for lunch, you might want to check at the dinner menu for more entrées.

Nice little restaurant tucked away the hustle and bustle. Good, authentic food, good prices. I highly recommend it to anyone. While there, grab a fresh made strudel to go!

Great food and free parking, make sure you pay the parking if you plan to walk anywhere else downtown. They will give you a ticket if you are not at the Cotton Exchange.

Love the atmosphere, and the great German food! The staff were friendly and the service was great. Also, free parking if your eating there. Big plus when it's busy downtown. Thanks guys

While at a conference, two other attendees and I visited The German Cafe for lunch. I was disappointed that they did not offer sauerbraten or spaetzle on either their lunch or dinner menu. My two compadres both ordered the schnitzel with sides of potato salad and something else. They were very disappointed in it. I was perfectly happy with my... More

If you have wonderful memories of eating great wiener schnitzel in Germany and hope to find it here, you'll be very disappointed. I have never before seen such thin, dry and tough veal as served here. It was as thin as lunch meat. The side dishes of green beans and potato salad were also disappointing. The potato salad was bland... More

Our group enjoyed lunch there. They loved the grilled cheese sandwiches. Other friends highly recommended as well.

My wife loves German food so we tried this place. The food was very good and the sweet tea was amazing. Our server was very attentive and friendly. A bit pricey if you get an appetizer and dessert, but the entrees have good portions for the price.

So so food. The wiener schnitzel was paper thin, I think light could pass through it. The taste you got while eating it was the greasy breading. The black forest cake was eh. Really nothing good to warrant a return visit.
