Stumbled on this little restaurant and stopped for lunch. Small selection but exceptional taste and prices. Everything's like good ol home cookin! Missed breakfast but heard it's even better than lunch! You'll drive right by if you're not paying attention so make a point of looking it up and eating here!

In the way of hotdogs, worth the stop! If you like hotdogs and want a really good one, with that "old fashioned" feel of American food, this will please you.

I have been to this place 30+ times and it's always all good! Good quick and fresh. They get busy sometimes but are pretty fast at getting things out to tables...staff is always super nice

The Original Salt Works is one of the best places to eat in Wilmington. Everything I've ever eaten here, whether it's for breakfast or lunch is always cooked perfectly. The staff is friendly, and while the food isn't the fanciest it's always tasty

Very slow service. Waited a while to be waited on and receiving my food. I think it is a bit overpriced on some items on the menu for what you received.

My wife and I shared a double cheeseburger today with rings. Reminded me of burgers 50 years ago. Excellent!

Take advantage of the lunch specials and get the best double cheeseburger in town! Big, juicy, any toppings you want.....and plenty of fries or rings!!!! It's the original.

Saltworks doesn't do a bad job at breakfast, but it's a difficult thing to screw up. My beef is that they charge more than everyone else in town despite the fact they they only accept cash. Most places that save money not accepting cards generally pass the savings onto the customer. Saltworks, however, is needlessly expensive for only a slightly... More

Quality is the best word to describe the food at this place. Bob uses the best products that he can find. NO cheap bacon and sausage here, and the country ham is some of the best that I have ever had. The service is always welcoming and accommodating. For lunch they have some of the best burgers and dogs as... More
