We really enjoyed our breakfasts and especially the coffee (and we are from Seattle!). The staff are efficient and friendly and the food was good. I liked the potatoes, nice and crispy and not greasy. The bacon was super crisp, just how I like it. The prices were very reasonable. A good choice!

Breakfast was good, but there are many other breakfast restaurants in town that are much better. Compared to their competition I went with 3 stars because it was a decent breakfast at a fair price.

Four gentlemen met here Friday morning (11/7) for an early breakfast. Stephanie was our server and she was quite good. She took care of each of and our food orders. Coffee refills were plentiful and the food was good. I had the cheese & sausage omelette that was generous in size and good in taste. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Met my friend Don yesterday (Wednesday) for breakfast at 8am. The # 1 omelette was very good and quickly served. The customer service here is quite good, plentiful of refills if you need one. Servers were friendly with a smiling face. In addition, they did not chase you out if you linger for additional conversation.

The Original Salt Works on Oleander has a daily lunch special of a double cheeseburger, crinkle fries and a drink for $7.25 (includes tax). The burgers are hand-pattied and made from fresh, never-frozen 93% lean ground chuck. Cooked diner style on a flat top. They also use locally sourced produce like tomatoes and hand-chop their coleslaw. Hot dogs are also... More

I've been going to the Salt Works ever since I was a young boy. Great hot dogs and chili. It's a must stop every time I come to Wilmington.

Stumbled on this little restaurant and stopped for lunch. Small selection but exceptional taste and prices. Everything's like good ol home cookin! Missed breakfast but heard it's even better than lunch! You'll drive right by if you're not paying attention so make a point of looking it up and eating here!
