I really enjoyed my lunch here with clients. We found it by accident and all three of us thought that our meals were good. I did think that it was a little pricey but would definitely go again and would recommend to friends.

I am not much on French food, so my review is slightly biased. This is my favorite place in Wilmington. I love to go here for the chocolate mousse and coffee and enjoy sitting outside in the breeze gently blowing off of the water while I indulge, and take in the beauty of the port city.

It was a dreary day but we stopped by for lunch and thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed our time here. My husband had the crab salad which had lots of real crab and I had the curry chicken salad, yummy, packed with flavor, raisins and nuts that complemented each other. The baguette was hot and fresh and we just slathered it... More

We picked this restaurant at a whim but what a prize. Service was excellent and food delicious. Two of us had the shrimp and orzo gratin and our husbands the crab and penne gratin. I cannot say enough about the quality and taste of the dishes. Wish I could have their recipe!!

my husband and i wanted to eat on the water and this little cafe looked nice. food was very overpriced for the majority of the items and my husband was dissapointed with the meat plate but my quiche was very good. This would be a good place to have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee but it... More

This is a tough review to write because the waitress and owner took our criticism with incredible poise and professionalism, including several nice gestures to improve our visit.....but.....to be honest, we were disappointed. It could be that we just chose the wrong dish (charcuterie plate). That being said, we also found the glass of wine to be average and expensive... More

Located on the Riverwalk this small restaurant has an excellent small plate menu if you wish. We sat outside and our server was excellent. The food was well prepared and we all will come back for another visit.

I was staying in one of the riverfront condos right above this restaurant. A hairdresser recommended this restaurant and it was a oerfect recommendation. I sat outside to enjoy the view and have a light bite and enjoy some wine. The food was delicious and they had a good selection of wines at reasonable prices! I will definitely be back... More

Because we love France and plan an upcoming visit to Spain, we stopped at the sweet Le Catalan French Cafe & Wine Bar from the Riverwalk entrance to sample cheese and enjoy a glass of wine outside the cafe overlooking the Cape Fear River. The special happened to be my favorite, Kir Royale, and it just got better from there... More

If you are looking for something a bit different, this restaurant is it. On the banks of the Cape Fear River, with views of the bridge over the river and the battleship. European flair, superb light meals ( charcuterie plate, saucisson plates, cheese platters, quiche Lorraine etc) excellent wines and great service. Very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend.
